I have always just watched PR but just recently decided to watch the sentai, so in preparation for Megaforce, I am watching goseiger and just watching the first few I can already say that they better not have Datas what so ever in MF version

Just caught the Kyoto episode of Dekaranger myself. Doggie in a kimono on the edo era set has blown my mind. And damn Swan you lookin' fine! It's hilarious Hoji, Sen, & Ban hit on her without realizing who she was :lol

it might just be because ive never really watched sentai before, but it seems to me datas is just a kiddy alpha, and so far there isn't much he does at all. (I realize hyper gosei great, but am currently only at episode 10 or so :p)

Episode 30 of Gekiranger. I still don't know what is going on with this Long guy, but he seems like an adequate final baddie before Rio completely takes over RinJyuDen. Not liking Ken, but I guess that's the point. Jellyfish and Hawk are pretty useless too. I'm also not fond of how they made DoRinki completely useless, when KaGeki is still only used in situations where it immediately wins.

Ooh, really liking this whole moral crisis Mele is having.

Yeah. those two pretty much lose their "Master" position a few episodes after their respective debuts because Rio is just that good. They're pretty much serving as the "Dragon" general type characters. They should bite the dust soon.

Long is awesome.

And don't worry about Ken. If you grow to like him, more power to you, if you are indifferent to him (Like me), don't worry. He loses his 6th ranger syndrome soon (6th ranger syndrome being where he handles every fight and takes out the monster with little help from the others).

I'm on episode 22 of Abaranger and I'm really liking how much of a jerk Abare Killer is. I realized something, in Gokaiger when Yukito and Emiri guested they're married but in Abaranger they hardly interact. So I guess something developed between them later on in the series?

Also at Epic 22 of Goseiger. It took me this long to realize that, you know what, Moune is damn cute. I wish though they'd use Seaick Gosei Great more often, I really liked that mode.

Just watched the Dekaranger movie. DekaGold has to be the lamest extra hero ever. It's nice she has a suit and all, but man was she useless.

Also, I watched the end credits with the movie version of Girls in Trouble. I like to think that every time they play that song it's in canon. Like on weekends or something they all go to the beach and play a crappy pop song. The idea amuses me.

It also seems like the sudden cooperation thing came out of nowhere for the sake of selling the Lion and Chameleon mechs. Strange episode, totally out of nowhere, and it messed up the ongoing arc, which was interesting in itself.

Yeah, I can't deny that. Don't worry though. It doesn't show up often.

I kinda liked that lion and chameleon mech from the movie. I was glad it was used on the show too.

Episode 21/22 of Dekaranger. Succubus is easily one of the hottest sentai villains ever. And Dekabreak is completely awesome. Sooooo much better than that ball of light shit SPD pulled.

There's nothing wrong with the combination (One of my favorite Geki combinations), it was just how it was inserted in the series.

Dekaranger episode 37... holy crap, that was amazing.So much fantastic emotional stuff crammed into a short 24 minutes. I really want to know who wrote this episode; it reminds me a lot of something Toshiki Inoue would have done back when he didn't suck.

Man, that scene with Hoji confronting the Alienizer and the walk/don't walk sign... so incredibly well done. This may be one of my favorite episodes of a tokusatsu ever.

Just finished Gekiranger 36. That was the most ridiculous thing. I guess they needed some humor among all of the rising tension, but that drunk thing wasn't something I'd expect of Retsu. More of a Ken thing.
And what a return to form this yellow ranger marriage episode is.

Gekiranger ep 36 is one of my favorite episode of that series. A drunk Retsu, Elehung and Sharky Chan plus Cherry, its a winner of an episode.

Finished episode 1 of Boukenger.
Not to be mean, Den-O, but this was not a strong beginning. The action was cool and all, but I know nothing of these guys, making BoukenBlack's betrayal just seem more head scratching rather than a tense situation.

I know not all series need to begin with the audience meeting everyone individually, but this was just...boring.

And please dear god don't let BoukenRed be another Marvelous.

Black isnt the deepest character ever but getting beyond episode 1 he is much better. Akashi is one of favorite reds though. Calm, collected, and sometimes ridiculously funny. I'll be the first to admit it though Blue is more boring than watching paint dry.

well I just finished goseiger :D now I just have to watch the movies and crossovers and then decide, should I watch Shinkenger or Gokaiger next? :lol

Finished episode 3 of Bouken.
Currently, all I can confirm is that, yes. These are moving pictures with sound.

However, it's not Decade or Gokai, but is still one of the more popular series, so apparently something goes down later on that's just freaking amazing (Or is it just the Bouken Vs. Super Sentai special that everyone loves?)

Youre badmothing Boukenger... Den is coming, quick Matrix run!

That special actually isn't all that great. The cameos are nice but it isn't incredibly well put together. A lot of my love comes from the villains, the incredible mecha designs, the great ranger suits, and the fun henshin devices.

I've survived this long badmouthing Decade, Wizard, and Gokaiger. I'm not afraid.

Man, I desperately wish you had mentioned story somewhere in that...

Don't get me wrong I think the story is good as well. The villains themselves have ALOT to do with that. Anything relating to Ryoun is awesome. Anything relating to Bouken Silver and by extension the Ashu/Questers is fantastic. As with any other sentai it has it's episodic bits but the multi-episode arcs are fantastic.

The villains have been thrown at me at rapid pace. I just hope we finish with the introductions soon enough so something can actually happen...

Just hit episode 26 of Dekaranger. Houji and Tetsu have infiltrated an alienizer fight club. Am I the only one who got the actual Fight Club reference? Tyler Seijin Durden? :lol

Meanwhile, I just finished Dekaranger 38. It was okay, but the next one is a Umeko episode, which means it should be awesome.

Geki 42. Shafu's kind of a jerk, playing on Jan's emotions to make him fight. But to be fair, that stuff always gets a free pass in Sentai. I like that they'd built up on Jan wanting a family, but I think it would have been a little cooler if they didn't just pull some random villain out of their asses for the sake of creating that conflict. Maybe if Rio had been a modern Shadow Moon or something, that'd be great. But then again, I have 7 more episodes to go, so who knows how I'll feel by the time I'm done?
Oh man, next up is the infamous Christmas special.

For those of you watching Dekaranger, would you recommend it? It's either that or going back to Blade once I'm done with Gekiranger.

I am fixin to watch either shinkenger or gokaiger, probably shinken, but when I finish those to, what do you gus think I should out the series from Gaoranger to Go-Onger?

That was just about the most ridiculous Christmas special for anything ever. Still, Mele in a Santa costume is nothing to complain about.
