Why so awesome Fenice, why so awesome?

That is pretty cool. It's very G-Gundam to me, but I like that. Like Wing & G-Gundam had a mashup.

The Fenice is meant to evoke italy so it's definitely very G Gundam like.

Ah, cool. I haven't been following the new build fighters thing much. I saw the news for some of the new kits, like the HG Wing and didn't really look into much more. That's pretty cool though, I totally see that now. I like it.

Anyone been reading Gundam: Origins? They're actually well printed (from Vertical Press).

Picked up my first RG model (Zeta Gundam). All I can say is...meh. I don't like the feel of it. It feels like it's going to fall apart if I try to pose him and that's just not cool. He can even transform into a jet but I will never even try to transform him out of fear. Definitely the weakest Gundam I've bought.

Sad to hear that, RG Zeta is sitting in my backlog as we speak. I built the RG first gundam, that one felt a little flimsy, with panels not really wanting to stay put. The RG Zaku however, put what qualms i had to rest. The frame gimmicks worked correctly and it stays together well. Do you think the fragility may be a consequence of the tranformation gimmick?

Yeah I think it might. It just feels really really fragile. I like the overall look of Zeta just not a fan of the material it's made out of. I'm not going to write off RG altogether. I'm just going to do more research on the next one I get.

I have built RG Skygrasper, Strike and Destiny, and still have Freedom to do. I also bought RG RX-78 but have decided to sell it in favor of getting MG v3.

They're all quite good. Skygrasper is freaking awesome, though there are a few parts that don't feel like they're attached as firmly as I would like, but a bit of superglue should fix that up. Same with Strike and Destiny, there are a couple of pieces here or there that may require some gluing, but overall, they're pretty great. I really enjoyed building them, and I think they look really fantastic. I'd recommend those three, at least, to anybody.

I'd also recommend Metal Build Exia, it is a think of hefty beauty. The joints are very snug (honestly, it can be a slight pain to pose, because the joints are tight, but it stays where you tell it to go), super detailed, beautiful paint and I love it.

I have a sick desire to buy two more of it and Exia Repair so I can display all four modes at once.

In fact, this one is missing the yellow fins on the neck, so I ordered a replacement from Amazon, but since I had Amazon points to redeem, I got $15 off it, I'm half tempted to keep it for Repair III mode instead of returning it for a refund.

Somebody should probably talk some sense into me.

Don't wright off RGs yet!. Zeta was absolutely the worst RG I've built! Start with the MK II or the newer GPX ones.

The RG kits are a bit more fragile because of all of the small parts, but the RG Zeta is an excellent kit. It's really the best sculpt of Zeta yet, at least the head sculpt. I can't believe Bandai did a RD ZZ before Zeta..

So I have five RD figures in hand now, and they definitely are better in hand than in pictures. The quality of the paint and plastic don't seem to come across as well in pictures as they really are. I'd like to see some more Wing EW designs in the RD line, both from the manga and the movie. I'm too involved with world building now with the RD figures, and I can't see Bandai doing a MG Serpent kit but could see a RD figure happening.

Also, has there been any concrete info on the RD Wing Gundam (TV version) yet? I'm planning on getting the new HG kit.. but want the RD that was shown recently as well.

Does anyone know where i can find Gundam 00 dubbed, because I just finished Wing. Wing was mediocre but had a good ending.

My favorite continues to be the fenice that not feeling awesome enough, decided to add a beam rapier and cape to his repertoire and a vehicle to make up for his lack of transformation.

I really like the Sengoku Gundam Astray.

By the way, the fire effect used in this pictorial review of RD Gundam Shenlong, does anyone know where that's from? It's looks like it's from SHF release.

Man that stinks, but everything is okay? I try to keep everything valuable elevated, but I live in a coastal area so flooding is par the course.

Yeah, everything's fine with us. We need to have the carpet pad replaced in the main basement room and my display room, but other than that, everything is cool. Some of our neighbors had some serious damage, but we got out just fine. The biggest problem at this point is that the carpet layers are so backed up we don't know when they will get to ours, so I've been without a display room for going on three weeks. :(

As for the effects set, it's not gotten rare yet, I can link you the search I use for it if you want, for the next time you do a Mandarake order.

I bought NG Kyrios last night at HobbyTownUSA. More than I wanted to pay for it, but I didn't feel like waiting to find it on Mandarake or for HLJ to get it in stock again, so it was worth the instant gratification.

what you can't really see is the metallic green I painted on the chest big (GN condenser?) and the cockpit looking area. It's a bit of a dark metallic green, but it looks pretty good, I think.

I've always been tempted by the NG 1/100 scale 00 kits, seravee and virtue in particular.

TJ Duckett has picked them up lately and built most of them. He was quite pleased with them, that's why I would get the ones that have appeared in the show, so far as I have seen.

Double X is hitting it out of the ballpark. The proportions are solid, it has articulation in all the right spots, the deco is simple and crisp. The only real complaint I have is that the seams on the front of the lower leg armor is highly visible. I guess that's the price one pays for online purchasing, you can never guarantee what you're going to get QC wise. I need a MG of this suit ASAP.

The Wing Zero is pretty much par for the course with RD, however it did come with an alternate lower abdomen which is shorter. I've been using it instead of the one it came with. it helps with the proportions and let's it fit on the shelf with my 1/144 kits a little better.

I finished the first season of Gundam 00 and watched the Wing movie this past weekend, and I gotta say I might be a hardcore Gundam fan now.

So according to TimlessDimension Bandai is actually re-releasing(?) the 1/144 G-Saviour kit! Love it or hate this blows my mind to no end. It's a great design that got the short of a shitty movie stick back in the day.

Wow, G-Saviour is getting a re-release. I guess it's not too far of a stretch, given that they just did a release of the G-Unit kits. It's kind of a shame that we didn't get some of the other designs from the series, the modular outer armor design was actually kind of neat. We could actually do nicely with a kit of the terrain mode.

I still have my original kit from way back when on the shelf too. It lost it's v-fin and rifle, but has since found "donors". Might be time to rectify that.

I watched a review of it, it doesn't look painful bad, just generic. That and tje fact that the MS are slow as heck.

G-Saviour kind of is what it is: an anniversary project trying to do something a little different. To be honest, it felt like a pilot for a late 90's/early 00's sci-fi show. Down to the re-use of of the MI uniforms from Starship Troopers (love that movie BTW). The CG feels somewhat dated and the MS do move a tad on the slow side, but given that the film is 13 years old, it's kind of forgivable.

That would make sense I liked the backstory behind the movie, and the game was able to expand on the concepts of it very well. It's a shame the film's failure closed the door for other live action projects.
