Haven't seen Hurri, but from what I've seen so far from Ninnin, I'd go with Takaharu. Though Sasuke was really likeable too ^^

You have to remember that what could be seen as passe and expected these days could be called a gimmick in their time, such as combining robos and additional heroes/rangers.

However, I don't know what would be the first old school sentai to have a gimmick as we know them.

Does anybody else not like when the Red is the least experienced/trained member of the group? For example, they pick up a random kid in Timeranger, and Megaranger's red is because he's good at a video game, while the other members are actually smart.

Well, for Timered they had no other choice since they needed five to activate their powers. Plus he was a karate expert so what he lacked in knowledge of the tech he was given he did make up for it with combat. But inexperienced reds overall I do not mind unless they pump them out show after show.

No, actually, they were all picked for being good at the game. MegaPink was also not quite the brightest. There was a complete episode dedicated to her suddenly turning into a genious. ;)

How long super sentai will last ?

As long as it makes money.

I think it will last as long as Toei stays in the black with the show. They dip in the red for two or three straight seasons, then it will be cancelled or get a ten year break like KR did.

I think I've seen all of the team-ups except GoGo V VS Timeranger and i think they all offer something unique. Except Goranger VS JAKQ...that one was pretty dull, but also the first, so it had that going for it.
