It looks like they made a new body for the Psycho girls? That's kind of cool.

For people wanting a Savage Sword accessory I had a (Lost) Galaxy Brain moment. Damaged Psycho Pick who comes with the sword in a two pack with Lost Galaxy Pink with Kendrix headsculpt. It's a fair compromise and proper tribute to one of Lost Galaxy's best moments.

Hasbro is missing the sling portion of Psycho Yellows weapon but honestly it seemed more of a hassle then practical on the show.

Psycho Pinks bow has a string unlike MMPR Pink/Ranger Slayer.

Psycho Black staff looks like Bandai's. I hope the main body is rigid but the "horns" are flexible to open.

Psycho Red/Blue are the same.

Female bodies look great.

All things considered, I hope this pack does well enough to justify Hasbro maybe releasing some lesser popular and/or smaller teams in this fashion....WITHOUT the double-dipping.

Having a Dino Thunder 3-pack, followed by single releases for DT White (who has been leaked) and DT Black (who is Tommy, so of course he'll sell) would be a good way to get that team out there.

Unless this turns out to be Dino Thunder Black with a Drakkon headsculpt for some reason, it's a really bizarre comparison.

Haven't read much Power Rangers comics but I do know that Lord Drakkon is an alternate Tommy, so is each Drakkon form like a corruption of Tommy's suits? Is that how it works?

Nope! The original Drakkon form is a fusion of the MMPR Green and MMPR White powers, because I guess they had to jump on that eventually; and then his evolved forms are from Shattered Grid where he's absorbing other Rangers' powers. Samurai, Zeo, In Space, etc. So those don't have anything to do with Tommy's forms specifically, aside from Zeo Red being among the first ones he stole.

The Amazon description is actually wrong. EVO III is actually Drakkon's' Final Form after he's absorbed a piece of (nearly) every powerset that was in the franchise at the time.

The only forms of his that are a direct result of the power he'd most recently absorbed are EVO I(Samurai) and EVO II(Zeo).

I was really hoping that they would at least correct some of the paint issues with the Psycho Rangers. There is still no paint around he belt buckle as there should be (though Pink looks like it does have paint there which is odd). I bet they still have missing paint on the side and back as well.

Having new molds for the female Psychos is ok, but not really accurate to the screen in my opinion. The Psycho Ranger suits all looks exactly the same to me. Nothing about Pink and Yellow looked particularly female.

Also, I was hoping these would be metallic, but I am already customizing metallic Psychos so I guess at least this means my customizing was worth doing.

Actually if you look at his second form, which he got after absorbing Samurai, his suit had a slight Samurai feel to it.

It did! But I'm referring specifically to parallels his suits have with Tommy's forms, relevant to the question

So, we got Drakkon's first form, and now we're getting his last form.

But neither of the 2 others?

We don't know but from observation this first and final form have the most contrast. His middle ones look very similar to first. So from a marketing standpoint it makes sense to do that. Potential buyers might see the 2nd/3rd forms as not being worth it. There are clear differences but they look like white rangers from a quick few. Also that final form is basically the first but with black plastic and a cape.

Also there are really two first forms of Drakkon. The first has the dragon dagger pouch. The 2nd this pouch is replaced with Saba. So minus his swinging it around in his fight with Tommy/Billy, Drakkon only has one or the other.

Hot damn they did a great job with the Uniforce Cycle! Glad they included an effect part for Electro Mode too.

He looks ridiculously good! With how many colours are involved in the suit, I did have a bit of worry at the back of my mind that this one might not turn out as well? Still good and more than serviceable, just missing certain paint apps and details that would have made it a little disappointing.

But to the contrary, uh, I think this is one of the best-looking and best-painted LCs so far if not the best! He looks absolutely lush and everything's done so perfectly. And then the bike follows up with the exact same quality! Damn good job on this one!

They officially revealed a 1:1 replica of the MMPR Red helmet. Since White was their first one, makes me think Green will be next.

I was all ways a fan of him in SPD. BUT.. I Never liked how we never got his full back story. He was just there. He never Morphte's he's just there. May be can can come back in a cross over. Given next season may be the last season?

Omega Ranger backstory was that little kid. But it was so silly they never got a full time actor. Like why not just make it Boom?

Making him be Boom would've completely gone against Boom's' character arc: Learning that he didn't need to be a superhero to contribute and to be proud of who he was.

Well is they made him Omega I would assume they'd have altered that. Though in a way Cam had a similar journey. Be a power ranger because it was needed, not to make themselves feel important. Sky's character arc isn't ruined because he became red but that he learned he didn't need to be and of course understanding what being a real leader was about.

Skye's' arc isn't ruined because despite his lessons, being Red was still something he aimed to be to honor his father. Meanwhile Boom recognized the importance of his role and put all of his efforts towards being a Tester, ontop of recognizing he wasn't cut out to be a Ranger. Unlike Skye who had everything that was needed other than the attitude.

Plus, the whole point of Skye's arc was that a true Red Ranger needed to learn how to follow first in order to be a great leader. He had to humble himself and get past his own ego before he would be ready to become the Red Ranger.


That aside, Omega Ranger looks AMAZING and I'm shocked that these and the Psychos will be arriving in less than a month. I'm enjoying the love Hasbro has been giving SPD so far. The only other team besides the Psychos to have at least 3 members represented are MMPR and Beast Morphers. Hopefully won't be too long until we see the rest of the team.

Dude if Omega Ranger appears again in the future, I hope they'll get Yuri Lowenthal again to voice him.

Hell I wanted American voice actors to voice characters in the franchise since forever.

I can understand selling Omega with his unicycle because as a figure by himself since no weapons etc etc. Still out of all figures to premiere a possible vehicle based subline why go with the unicycle?

I think it's because 1) SPD is a popular season, 2) Omega Ranger's vehicle is easy to produce, I think the closest runner up would be Beast Morphers Red and Cruise since it's a signature part of him, and 3) They are catering to those that have Figuarts of Dekaranger and having an equivalent of Dekbreak figure would help complete the Dekaranger set
