But yeah, the Calibur belt is weird in that it 'corrupts' the WRB that is inserted.

Hello there, everyone.

I'm writing this minutes after it happened; has anyone here (who owns a SworDriver) ever experienced it randomly flashing red for a minute or so? Mine just did after I scanned three books, then randomly resumed working like normal. I was wondering if any of you guys know what it means.

Is it an indicator that I need to change the battery, or have I somehow accidentally previewed a light-up pattern for a future upgrade item?

I don’t have the SworDriver, but experience with other Drivers indicates to me that you probably found a future pattern. So congrats if so!

I've kind of been assuming he only became the Swordsman of Darkness when he betrayed everybody? We've yet to see a flashback of him before the big incident, so I don't think it's yet out of the realm of possibility he used to have a less ominous gimmick at some point. I think it's because his Driver looks so distinctly crude and simple that got me thinking that way? It doesn't seem to me like it would've been created in whatever fashion everyone else's gear was.

But who knows, I'm probably overthinking it. Maybe he's like Dark Ghost and the universe was just kinda expecting him to turn evil eventually. :lol

See, it's funny, because the other thing that got me thinking this way was noticing how Calibur's design, broadly speaking anyway, is just Saber's with a bunch of bits covered by extra armor that's been bolted on, which reminded me of Tregear. Maybe Calibur's Dragon was a whole lot less Jaaku before that helmet got slapped on it, is all I'm saying. :lol

I'm open to that idea. Like you said hints of Tregear, and to add to that when Hikari was in his Tsurugi phase.

Jaouh Dragon kinda supports this as well with the bolted armor theme removed for more ornate gold armor. And Cailbur's eyes being fully shown and is the same shape as the black flare thing behind the silver mask.

Maybe we'll see a Unjaaku dragon somewhere down the line.

Also, who was the previous Espada? Unless Espada is actually a newly developed rider for the Swordriver specifically for Kento. Just thinking cuz I want Kento to use Calibur at least once.

Even if the "evil" parts were bolted on after he betrayed SOL, he might have still been the Swordsman of Darkness using a different driver and weapon back when he was still good, as a "dark is not evil" type of character. Although if that was the case, someone really should have kept a closer eye on him...

It could also make sense for Kento's father (IDK if he's the same as the current Calibur, the wiki says there's a second user but I forget if that's been confirmed yet) to have been the previous Espada.

Love the henshin tutorials! I miss them! I hope they can do more with Espada, Buster, Kenzan, Slash and possibly Calibur.

At precisely 4:03 in the Blades video (right as he's about to wave) you can notice there's a couple splotches on the palm where the outer layer of the glove has either scratched or peeled off.

I assume it's just due to the glove naturally making constant contact with the regular and prop versions of his sword. I'm sure they could probably fix it if they really needed to, but since that particular area is always gonna be obscured by the handle while Rintaro's holding the sword, the production crew probably aren't in a rush to repair it.

The proper base forms are the full wonder combos. King Arthur gets dwarf awkwardly

I really wish they'll give an explanation as to why there are three Swordrivers (the 'sheaths', nevermind the different swords stored in them) while everyone else has drastically different swords.

I mean, yeah, unlikely but it would've been a nice touch. Like, if the Swordrivers were originals (hence three slots) or something and every other sword was reverse engineered from them (hence one slot) or something I don't know.

So are we gonna be just have the SwordDrivers & the henshin blades for new riders? Or add a new system for the series? Cause King of Arthur could be used somehow.

King of Arthur will, I think, have as many appearances as Ghost's iguana and Breaking Mammoth. It fills that slot and we likely won't see it much again after Christmas.

Talking of Christmas, we'll likely get a new belt around then too ala Thouser and Woz.

Speaking of, have the Q2 forms been revealed yet? Or atleast leaked?

I like the look of the Wonder Combos, so I'd like to know the fuck they're being replaced with already.

Q2 leaks are surprisingly elusive so far. I know Saber's first upgrade is called 'Dragonic Knight', which to me somehow brings to mind something like Toucon Boost; where it's an upgrade to the 'base' gimmick item that still uses the other gimmick items -- ie, it could be a full wonder combo just with Brave Dragon replaced with New Cooler Brave Dragon.

At least that's what my read on it is.

They said in the last episode that the Gekido and Hayate were “unique” seiken.

Weren't there also rumors about it being an external upgrade device? Like in the style of Blade's Rouze Absorber? I remember hearing that, but I don't remember where. I would personally prefer something like Build where it plus into the driver, but has its own sounds too.

I hadn't heard about that but I'd actually be very excited by that as Blade is the last time it happened, so this would be pretty different to the current norm. I'm sure it'd have some interactivity with the Driver either way, though -- maybe something like how the Ghost weapons need to 'scan' the Driver for their final attacks?

Oh, the Ghost approach that way would be nice! I'm generally not a big fan of when upgrade items feel completely separate from the main Belt. Although owning the SworDriver I don't really see any place a Hazard Trigger or Genesis Core-esque item could attach.

I could see a shield being the next item. Something like W Extreme's Prism Bicker.

If it had an NFC in it, the sword could activate it by pulling out of it or tapping the front with the tip.

It could also be a new emblem piece to attach on the hilt. Speaking of which, I've come to really like those as a way to personalize drivers that are otherwise identical, they're like the little faceplates on the Sengoku Drivers but more distinctive.

Will Q2 introduce us more riders yet!? HOW LONG!?

The shield weapon will be really cool especially because Kamen Rider Saber are knight-themed Kamen Rider series. :D

I hope the shield in toy version is big enough. Maybe same size as deluxe Houou Soldier's shield in toy version.

I think some of WRB can be inserted into shield....:D
