The only way that would happen is if it was a different version or something. Like a completely different figure, which will never happen. They reissue Tamashii Festival exclusives quite a bit (like I think every single one has been), and they redid New Den-O Strike Form, but since Gai is neither of those, it won't happen dude.

And Yuuki used to be upwards of $100, and how he's more like $60-$70, so he may go down in time... a lot of time.

Oh man, Kyoryu Blue and Green have gone up to 14500 yen on Nippon Yasan. Now I kind of regret not pre-ordering them. Haha

Festival exclusives are always sold as regular webshop items later, yeah. Other than that, they've only ever done second runs for figures that still have pre-orders open. Demand for Blade's King form, for example, was so high they had to do a second wave of them.

Other than that, there's only things like "Crystal" Skull, which was technically a different version of the character (although still kind of screwed over people who bought the original one).

That's always the risk of waiting for the aftermarket. Kyoryuger has been so popular that this was always going to happen though. If anyone wants Black, Pink and Gold, I'd really recommend ordering them now. The prices are only going to get more crazy with everyone trying to have the whole team.

Expect the Gaim guys to go for some really crazy prices too, even the regulars until they're re-released.

How much are they normally? Just curious since I'm not planning to pick them up (nor do I Hvae the money for them right now) until probably the end of the year.

My two pack was just under 8000 from NY, so the price has almost doubled.

Looks like prices for the Hurricanger & Gouraiger 2-packs have gone up as well. Up to 12,000 even on Mandarake.

Grah. I still need the Gouraigers, too.

I find it pretty damned amazing that Bandai was able to release every Ryuki rider minus Femme, complete with super forms, a blank form and contract beasts for relevant characters but they still can't complete a team of 6-8 outside of like, 1.

Kamen Rider is simply far more marketable and profitable than Sentai for collector lines like this. Releasing current or recent teams is one thing, but there's less collector appeal for older teams. Obviously people like me care and want to buy them all, but unless the Japanese market these things are initially aimed at wants this stuff it goes to the bottom of the list to get produced.

I'd imagine that the individual Ryuki riders may have been more popular than the average non-Red/non-Sixth Sentai team member.

Oh wow, it looks like I'm going to wait until next year when Bluefin releases them over. I can't imagine them skipping out on the Kyoryuger figuarts with Dino Charge coming out next year.

Especially given there is so much less to do from sentai hero to the next. I guess a bit part of the reason they're steamrolling out MMPR releases is because the suits are so basic.

I believe NY had them for 7980 during pre-orders.

I guess amazon.ca's price of $80 isn't looking too bad right now. Haha


Also, where would I be able to order the kyoryuger 2 packs from? I'm thinking that when blck and pink come out NY will have a few leftover stock before prices start increasing.

It's just weird that characters who may as well be extended cameos like Imperer or Scissors get releases well before key members of Sentai teams but yeah, can't argue against Kamen Rider simply being more marketable.

I suppose it's just the fact that, with Sentai, if you buy one it's practically impossible to not want to buy them all but with Rider, you're somewhat able to pick and choose.

I think in 2016, I could see us getting Goranger figuarts for the 40th anniversary. I think Akaranger will get a retail release while the other teams will be release in a two pack as a web exclusives.

This is actually a very realistic possibility. And I'd totally be down for it. The 40th will be the perfect opportunity to capitalize on renewed nostalgia. Speaking of it's crazy to me that we're just the rest of ToQger and 1 show after away from the big 40.

I just really want Goseiger and Liveman Figuarts ;-; They'd be two teams I'd happily fully complete.

Yeah, prices seem to be going wonky. Dunno if I posted this already, but saw Gokai Green for $41 & Gokai Silver for $48 Primed shipping on Amazon. I'm tempted to get at least Green while his price is low. That's why I jumped on Kyoryu Red, cause he is at a low at $27 shipped.

Daigo is another part of the Kyoryuger's I have no interest in owning. Although I may buy a Carnival SHF if it ever gets released, because I thought it was really cool looking - impressively lame and even more reason to hate Daigo - but cool looking.

I just want them to finish the damned Dairangers already, though I might see that happening either next year or in 2016, same with Jetman's remaining figuarts.

They better finish Jetman considering we've seen pictures (IIRC) of the figures. So yeah, finish Jetman, Hurricanger, and Dairanger! And then give me my damn Gaoranger ones.
