I kinda like his helmet. It's almost like the grandfather of what would become the bird motif.

Someone posted some screenshots of the Jetman figures from the Akibaranger Blurays and they were very clearly just repainted Zyurangers. You could even still see the diamonds on their feet underneath the paint.

I think it's more that people would rather have more new teams released or just for them to finish the current ones. Variants of a set we already have is pretty low priority for most people.

Now where are those Rio and Mele figuarts?

I can't see how they could possibly be repainted Zyuranger, with their completely different boots, gloves, chest, belts and heads plus the retooled stomach on Yellow Owl. The only support I can see for that is that they al lacked their sidearm holsters.

EDIT: Found the pics in question from the Blu Ray. Seems strange, but there's still a lot of retooling. Why bother with a whole new torso for Yellow Owl?

I can see it a little on White Swan, but not the other two. The others just look really hand painted.

Even if the Zyuranger bodies were used, you can still see a lot of new sculpted stuff. The helmets, the bird symbols and belts on the females, even Yellow Owl has a bit of a gut like he should.

with the 40th anniversary looming ahead, it would be the perfect excuse to release the red of reds, Aka Red. I don't care the price I want him.

yeah, I would have to agree with the original red and the rest of the gorangers getting releases then. I mean come on, all of the showa riders, except for j and zo have been released and are on the way. hell black and rx got a renewal. we need more classic sentai like denjiman, battle fever j, and jakq.

The only one I'm seeing the diamonds on is Kaori.

I'm might be one of the few people here who saw the diamonds on Raita & Ako aswell as Kaori :lol.

I dont see any diamonds, I dont even see how they could be repaints, why go through the trouble of doin that if they were gonna redo the heads and everything anyway?

The head on yellow is actually pretty clearly Tyranno Ranger's. All of the grooves are still there.
It's just easier and cheaper to repaint pre-existing, in-production molds than to create three all-new molds for one shot.

I see the diamonds on Pink now, but I just cant see Tyrannos head.

If we get Akibaranger Season 3 in 2015, I think Toei will pick out the most popular past Sentai teams like they did in the second season. Jetman, Zyuranger, Dairanger and Dekaranger were popular when they were airing, so that's likely why they got picked.

If they pick any Sentai from the 90's then I think Carranger and Megaranger are likely. I can't remember if Go Go V, Kakuranger and Gingaman were popular back in the 90's. I hear Fiveman and Ohranger didn't do that great, so it's likely we won't see figuarts of them despite Zeo was popular overseas.

I think that one's definitely incorrect. Both Yellow Owl and Tyranno Ranger have grooves going on the top of the visor over the head, so you may be mistaking the actual grooves Yellow Owl is supposed to have. The Yellow Owl head does not have any sign of teeth, eyes where the T-Rex eyes were or mouth on the visor or any other signs it was originally a Tyranno Ranger head.

Kaku was extremely popular, hence why it had 53 episodes.

Kakuranger is definitely very low priority for me personally. I honestly find them to be the most boring Sentai suits ever.

All I want are just SHF Robo-Rider & Bio-Rider, really.

If Bandai decided finally acknowledge those 2 RX forms & release it as a SHF, I will buy those 2 no matter what the prices are, so then my life will be complete & I can finally retire from SHF in peace.

On a serious note that I kinda regret collecting SHF nowadays. Almost everything are now exclusives (not all of them really). And worst of all, some of the most popular ones like SHF Battle Hopper, even though not an exclusives, the fact that Bandai decided to cut orders everywhere & produced it in short qty, made it pretty much like an exclusive.

The value of the figures are now like SIC, some of the used ones are expensive like retard & seldom very hard to find unless you sell all of your gold nuggets.

I really missed those early days when SHF Kamen Rider were just 2500 yen each, no exclusives, pretty much stocked everywhere even to the point that no one wants to buy one.
