Ugh, I am done with Rider Figuarts outside the Shinkocchou Seihou line. Kamen Rider Espada showed up today. In addition to the infuriating "you must manually switch the hand-backs" thing that plagues the entire line and the static cape, he came without the damned right sword-holding hand. I got a second right fist instead. So that pose on the package, where he's holding his sword in his right hand? He can't do that.

And since this was a web exclusive I got through a middleman, I'm SOL on replacing it. We deserve better than we've been getting from the main-line Rider figures for some time now, and for me, this is the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. They phoned in the Saber Figuarts, and I'm not willing to pay for another $80 figure for which they decided to take severe cost-cutting measures.

Tell the middleman about it. If they can't help out at all, file a chargeback with your bank/PayPal. You have every right to be pissed off.

I would try to re-sell it as soon as possible while the resale value is high. Someone out there might be okay with the missing hand and you can break even with some luck.

Not sure if anybody is still looking for Shinkocchou Seihou Black for a reasonable price, but I decided to take a chance on eKnight media as I've never used them before and they had Black in stock for less than you could probably find him for on the secondary market.

Happy to say they shipped him out quickly and he's now here in my hands. So if anybody's looking for Black for under $100, I can definitely recommend them.
