So exited about snagging the five main Gokaigers(+ all their Darin's) for $250 on Yahoo auctions.

The Gokai suit's are some of my absolute favorite designs but I knew if I got Red, Green, Blue and Silver I would need to get Yellow and Pink. I just couldn't justify spending $90+shipping and handling on a 5" Figuart no matter how awesome it is when there are many Medicom 12" figures that I am dying to have that cost less.

This way I can split the cost evenly between each Gokaiger in my head and $50 each is a lot easier for me to justify ;)

I hope Bluefin in conjunction with Bandai tamashii does zeo/ohranger next. if not then at least during akiba season 3 with gold/king ranger.

Are there confirmed details for series 3 of Akibaranger? I thought it was still more of a possibility at this point.

I would have to check again, but from what I know they are in talks and stuff about it. its just my hope that once confirmed we get some zeo/ohranger figuarts cause I want gold so bad.

Akibaranger Season 3 was confirmed to be in negotiations. The creators and producers were negotiating the terms of the season with Toei and shooting for an April 2015 release date since no deal could be reached before this April.

Based on how much of a massive critical and commercial success the show was, it's only a matter of time before it comes back. It's the perfect marketing vehicle for new sentai figuarts. Too profitable not to return basically. I hope what they're "negotiating" is a longer season run time like maybe 25 episodes. But that's just wishful thinking.

Things are more solid than I remembered. Excellent. I'd love a longer series, but I'll be happy to get anything. It's a brilliant show. Maybe someone will get the bright idea to use it to push out a Beet J. Stag figure. :D

If I were choose to pick seven teams for Akibaranger Season 3 then I would pick:

1. Battle Fever J
2. Gekiranger
3. Kakuranger
4. Go Go V
5. Meganrager
6. Abaranger
7. Timeranger

Sticking with the seemingly 3 per season idea, I'd probably go with:

1. Gaoranger
2. Megaranger
3. J.A.K.Q.

I just really want Goseiger and Liveman to be featured simply because I'll finally get Figuarts!

Goseiger was not very popular from what I can remember. Toei tends to pick the popular past Sentai teams to appear in Akibaranger. Jetman and Zyuranger were popular back in the early 90's. Dekaranger was also popular back in 2004.

If we're going really back, I'd love to see Maskman and Fiveman figuarts.

I'd like to see Kenji Ohba show up in Akiba series 3. We should probably start a 'What Do You Want in Akibaranger' thread. :lol

Anyways looking through that one Tumblr blog that specializes in custom SHFs. Man some of these look so amazing that it's almost criminal Toei and Bandai haven't made them themselves yet.

I just wanna see some Hibiki figuarts already damnit, I have been on my ass about this as Hibiki is more unique than Gaim is, in terms of the classic Heisei riders *I consider anything involving the seasons that aired AFTER Decade to be NEO Heisei .-.*.

If we're talking about the "likely" choices for Akiba Season 3 then just look at the first two.

Season 1
1. Dekaranger
2. Boukenger
3. Jetman

Season 2
1. Dairanger
2. Zyuranger
3. Hurricanger

Season 1 also had a live stage show to celebrate the season which featured an actual Episode 14. Appearing in it were:
1. Goseiger
2. Shinkenger
3. Go-Onger

Now going by the logic of the first two seasons we'll either have 2 post 2000 series with one pre, or vice versa. For the later Heisei stuff (2000+) plus the shows still on the table are; Timeranger, Gaoranger, Abaranger, Magiranger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Goseiger.

For the earlier stuff than that, I'd say they aren't likely to go pre-Jetman right now. That show marks a turning point in the franchise for both quality and design and is probably as far back as they'll reach to produce partial/full teams for now. Aside from special anniversary releases like Aka Ranger will most likely be. So for shows up to the year 2000 we have left Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, GoGo V.

My personal hope for season 3, if it's only limited to 3 teams again and out of these available options would be; Gaoranger, Gekiranger, Carranger.

I'd LOVE to see Timeranger, Abaranger, & Gekiranger.

I would want:

1. GoRanger (It was the first, it deserves Figuarts.)
2. Maskman
3. Abaranger.

If we don't get any pre-Jetman stuff next year then maybe they will save them for the 40th anniversary in 2016. I would like to see some Magiranger figuarts so I can do a MagiRed vs. Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style on display.

I wonder who'd win in a penalty shootout.

Magiranger and Megaranger are definite top priority, honestly don't mind what the third is though.

If we get Goseiger figuarts then I hope Gosei Knight will get re-issue soon. I miss out on him over a year ago and Bluefin was unable to release him last year.

Gosei Knight would really appreciate a Gosei Red release shortly accompanied by a Pink/Blue 2-Pack and a Yellow/Black 2-Pack release.

Its sad, because the Gosei Knight Figuart is absolutely awesome.

I'd love to see a SHF Metallic Robo Knight as a SDCC exclusive this year myself.

I would love to see Magiranger. I love the suit designs in that show. I DEMAND a Wolzard Fire.

It would be cool if we get Beast-Demon Hunter Zeek as a web exclusive while America gets Titanium Ranger as a US exclusive if we ever get Go Go V figuarts.

Yeah, I don't think either Titanium Ranger or Zeek are popular enough for release.

I wouldn't say they're not popular enough (especially Titanium). But the idea Guyver said of Japan getting Zeek and America getting Titanium I couldn't really see work.

Considering how well Showa Kamen Rider stuff does, I'm really surprised we haven't seen them try this with Sentai yet. I mean, where's Akaranger at least?

Although they're probably trying to focus on seasons that will be popular in both the US and Japan to maximise sales (which is why we probably won't see characters like Titanium Ranger that can only be sold in one country).

I slightly agree, but still think a SHF Titanium Ranger might happen. I think it'd be a curiosity to JP fans, and a great way to pique interest in Americanized Ranger creations. They may like LSR.
