It’s probably one of the most popular and influential Tokusatsu shows of all time

Zero idea why toy companies keep thinking rubber parts are a good idea.

Blame it on those collectors who complain about joints ruining the general sculpt and look of figures.

It sucks that you have to be careful, but at least they don’t come out of the box like that.

I mean yeah that's certainly a factor, but at the same time rubber parts not only degrade over time, but also tend to look uglier than joints ever do whenever said rubber is articulated, so it still confuses me.

And it gets like a universal negative response from fans. No-one likes this and they’d better stop fast

We'll have to see on future releases. But the implication with Shadowmoon coming with an all-plastic crotch gives me that slight bit of hope that they saw it.

Sigh. The poses I’m planning to put him in don’t require the arms crossing over the chest like that, so if it’s the source of the problems, I have some hope. But seeing multiple reports before HLJ even gets their stock in is very discouraging

IIRC his abdomen is also rubber, so be careful if you plan to crunch him forward or back too.
