It may be shallow and stupid, but the giant robots are what make me want to watch a season. And while Timeranger/Time Force fails that test (the Red/Blue/Alpha/Beta thing I do not like), this video makes me want to watch both Timeranger and Timeforce.

Also, I'm currently watching Gekiranger. And thinking of going back and continuing Gingaman.

Dairanger is slow going at first but gets better. And don't worry about the Shinkenger film. You didn't miss anything. It was just one of those dredful 30 minute summer films and like usual it was pretty bad. Just a way to sell us a new toy, and not a very good one either (Kyoryu Origami).

It wasn't so much slow as it was...too fast.

A guy takes out a bin, gets attacked by a giant phallus, boy plays with a yo-yo, "super powers are real!" "Super powers aren't real!" *morphs without ever seeing the morpher before, takes down the villains with ease and shows complete control over his abilities*

WHAT?!?!

Good news about the film though.

Watched Battle Fever J episode 9, it was a fantastic episode another one more centric on Battle Japan however I liked the small focus of Kenya and France too. Also that the team was all willing to help out Masao's friend was truly nice of them all. Really likeable cast, really good villains. Really a great sentai if you can get past below average video quality.

Good news about the film though.
The Shinkenger film is pretty typical of sentai 30 minute films. Rushed plot to sell one new toy that barely fits into the TV show. I enjoyed the Dekaranger, Boukenger, and Goseiger films in this category but I can still acknowledge that all they did was sell toys too :lol

I remember when I thought the Gekiranger summer film was sub-par, but having seen more, I realized I had lucked out and got a pretty nice movie with Geki :lol

From what ive seen of boukenger the movie for me was weird and slow to watch through. Easily the weakest part of the show.

The Shinkenger x Goseiger movie is Epic. We got Daemon Brajira out of it! Even ZeoV backs me up on this :lol
