Wait, what? This is the actual final form? I thought it was a Televi-kun suit and people were joking.
|
I like how Reiwas has taken a step back and down on the final forms. Heisei was getting a bit gaudy.
|
I mean if you want to be technical, Rekka's Final Form is pretty gaudy when comparing it to it's standard form. lol
|
But compared to like Genius and Muteki, it's downright plain.
|
Oh no I'm not talking about Saber, I'm talking about Rekka, the sword.
It's funny how when you think about it we're getting a final form for a weapon instead of the actual Rider really. |
In retrospect this was kind of obvious considering the suit of our (supposed) main villain is like 85% recycled parts. :lol

What a rip. GUURRHHHH!! SABER BETRAYED US! Auughhh! I've started - I should have never started this stupid fanclub in the first place! I'M GONNA GET RID OF ALL THIS SABER STUFF All of it! All of it! *removes the Saber undies* ...All of it...! I'm gonna run away! That's what I'll do, run away...! aughahaghaa! ... Mmicb0b, come back! There's more! and his debut is directed by Shibasaki! REALLY?! time reversal |
Ehh, I like it. That said, I guess during this Reiwa era it seems that whoever is now leading the rider franchise in general is taking the Frieza approach to ultimate forms. While Zero-Two was a totally new rider and this is just a repaint, the common element that I see here is ultimate forms are re-shaping the rider while taking it back to its core rather than adding more like I previously stated a long time ago when Zero-Two was revealed. It's as if said person who leads the rider franchise saw a bunch of Marie Kondo videos and applied her principles of trim away any useless clutter. :lolol

I'm not a terribly big fan of this new trope of making the final form a new rider or very least treating it like one. |
