And yeah, TPP can be dreadfully boring most of the time. But when things are actually happening I find it really fun to watch. Missed the first gym battle of Crystal though...

Yeah, I feel the same. Its kinda cool that they're still going, but I think the novelty has been lost by doing another so soon.

I have absolutely no expectation to win, but its all fun isn't it? :lol

That Special Defense, with an Eviolite, plus the offensive capabilities already mentioned. Yikes! Physical Steel attacks are going to be even more of a thing than they were before, at least until this thing gets shoved into Ubers. I look forward to getting one, however that happens, but theoretically taking it away from AZ would suck.

I don't think it'll be bumped to Uber. It looks like Scizor has it's number. And even with the eviolite, it's physical defense isn't something to write home about, so a fast and strong Pokemon like Talonflame could probably break through.

Agreed. Not like I'd want to ever use that kind of Pokemon anyway(single typing + no breeding = IT'S RANCID GET IT OUTTA HERE).

Probably got a point there, Matrix. Physical priority would always put a damper on things, doubly so where Scizor and Talonflame are concerned. Didn't consider it from that angle. In any case, it's going to have its uses for sure! Hopefully this leads into an event that actually happens and not one reserved for a third version/sequel, which I could easily see, if there was an alternate take on the AZ storyline that was more fleshed out and ended differently or AZ chose in the next game to let go of his long-sought Floette or it chose to join you for... whatever would happen next in the story.

It definitely has it's uses, for sure, but popular Pokemon not currently considered Uber doesn't have much to fear. That special attack is definitely a force to be reckoned with, though, so time will tell.

I think they'll have an explanation for why you get it from AZ, though. Perhaps it'll be a "If you love it, let it go" kind of situation with him.

Nope. She was Gen 4, and she can't be transferred into 5. It'd still be sprite based animations and designs.
