I mean, I absolutely get the appeal of joints being less visible. It... I mean it kinda goes without saying, right? In theory it's obviously more accurate to the suit and gives a more seamless appearance.

Personally though? And this might be a bit of a weird opinion, but even if there were technology that would allow for a perfectly seamless appearance; I think I'd still prefer the visible joints! There's something just really cool about them to me, at least on Kamen Riders? The appearance of most Riders to begin with involves layers and armour, so the joints feed into that and just look cool to me

Also don't forget that the Akibaranger suits were designed to look like toys! The knees and elbow armor is supposed to resemble a figuart joint.

I actually think the Saber suit knees and ankles also do this well.
