I guess I can forgive that purchase, considering that still leaves enough members to buy, so that I'm not thinking 'well since I've got X I may as well buy the others!'.

Have absolutely no interest in the girls, and although I liked Zack I lot, I've honestly got enough MMPR representations in my two Reds and Tommy - especially so if I get Billy as well.

Display them as the Zyurangers then. Unless you haven't seen Zyuranger.

Fourze Base is awesome. He was my first Rider Figuart, and I love him. Just be careful with His Astro Switches, I've heard that a lot of people lost them.

You could just glue them in. If you don't plan on buying any of the Switch sets, then you don't have to worry about switching them out.

It isn't really all that bad as it is boring. There's a lot of stuff that's filler and doesn't really contribute much to the plot. The only time filler plays some practical role is when Burai/Dragonranger appears (which you'll find out why if you watch it). If I could remember clearly what every episode was, I'd just give you a list of the important ones. But yeah, it's just boring when there isn't anything having to do with the main plot going on. I still like it, but I could probably skip a couple of episodes on a rewatch.

Still WAY better then MMPR though.

That show sounds like my worse nightmare :lol

MMPR isn't bad so much, just minus neo-Saban, when you see how the franchise grows up until RPM, going back to "saved by the bell with grainy disconnected Japanese footage slotted in without any context", it's just kinda painful. Especially so that so many people defend it due to nostalgia, despite the fact it totally sucks. Yeah it may be the first, but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck.

ZyuRanger is an incredible show, my 9th or 10th favorite Sentai series, but you wouldn't like it as it is a very episodic series. Plus, only Red, Green, and Pink are truly given any development. The overall story throughout is great, but think of ZyuRanger like Cowboy Bebop in that the main plot is spread throughout the entire series. Unlike CB though, the show is full of horrible child actors.

Fourze base isn't bad, but he looks... dirtier than he does in the show. Cosmic, being the 7th (if you count the 2 Fusion States) use of an already dubious mold, can suffer from mold degradation (namely, loose joints). I'm not familiar with the Wizard SHFs, but I'd say Infinity is the best of your options. Unless of course you really like the Blue Ranger.

Is it some flaw with the white used for Fourze's construction/paint apps? The way you describe it sort of reminds me of Mattel's inability to produce anything brighter than a lightish grey.

I already have Water Style, but honestly it's just very... very... boring. However, I saw Infinity in person yesterday at Lexcon and was blown away by it.

As for Billy... Well, yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Blue Ranger. Series itself be damned, I'd watch just for David Yost.

Fourze Base States looks fine. He's not gleaming white like the show but he's not a dingy white either. The mold holds up fine regardless of which form it was used for.

The thing with Figuarts mold is that mold degradation never really seems to be a problem at all. Any issues with a mold tends to come from either the first time it's used or from the fact that you ended up with a dud.

What forms of Gaim other then his Orange arms do you think will be retail and web exclusives? I know the forms from the movies and hyper videos will likely be web exclusives, but what about his other forms?

I could see Jinba being retail, and maybe Kachidoki as well. Though who knows.

It's not unreasonable to assume secondary forms (Gaim Pineapple, Baron Mango, Ryugen Kiwi) as being web exclusives, I don't think. Especially in the case of Gaim Banana Arms... which is the only secondary form after Baron Mango that I really want.

The problem with swappable armor on Figuarts is the heads.

Yes, but you'd have to have a different head for each of the armors. No way all of that stuff is getting packed in when they can get people to double dip.

Even if they did try to make the gimmick work, it would be way too fiddly, and they couldn't use the same system as ACG because the visors won't look right from every angle.

Absolutely. I think it works out better for Bandai financially and for us in getting a higher quality figure. Sure, we'll end up paying a bit more, but all the extra pack-in heads and armor would have raised the price anyway.

Figuarts are for older collectors and not meant to be play with. If you want removable and swappable armor then get the AC figures. Those are cheaper and more fun to play with. The Jimba forms other then his Lemon forum will likely be two pack web exclusives.

Again, figuarts Gaim will NOT be going that route just due to the fact that the Fourze Module sets sold very poorly. They would be competing with the gimmick figure line again.

LOL Are they though? ARE THEY? I mean, I'm sure the figuarts will spike on the aftermarket too, but it was a hell of a lot easier to score orders for the SHF for me than the AC line.

Completing my tour of the threads: no MMPR Black yet. Funny, I'm more excited to see others get him before me, considering I'll probably be last to get him....as usual.

i think they will release one jinba gaim and have the color chest parts to signify what jinba arms it is removable. that way they can have spare color parts for the other jinba arms forms, like how kiba and ryu ranger had removable chest pieces. of course this is just a theory of mine and the way it might peg in might not work for figuarts if they decide to go that route.

Naw man. I'm just going in-store and getting him. I might break down and order, but really at this point, it's just best to wait it out. Although, the next preorder, Blue Ranger, I'll just order Tricera Ranger and wait until the local release to complete the MMPR box scheme. Strangely, I'm going to get doubles to display and keep the originals. So most likely I'll get some Sentai and some PR boxed copies.
