Some great reveals recently but, BOOM BOOM BOOM. Here comes Kabuto 2.0!!
Just came across these pics, not sure if it is released early or not. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...51764187_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...92236477_n.jpg |
I might order this & pre-order Hibiki at the same time from BBTS but not sure still.
|
What's that black thing?
|
I'm guessing it was the cover for the hands, also 8 more days till the Kabuto Rider Form renewal release in Japan & I'm guessing that's when Amazon.com will have it available aswell and same with the smaller USA shops like BBTS in April since usually Amazon.com is usually the only shop that gets the bluefin distributions on the correct day & the smaller shops usually get them at the end of the month so it might be how that works for the April tamashii/bluefin distributions

I preorder this Kabuto 2.0 from AmiAmi on their second listing.
Looks great but now I feel kinda short-changed as it is a pretty expensive figure with little accessories. The main draw will be the kabuto figure itself n will be looking foward to AmiAmi notification soon. |
Wow. Looks like they brought back peck articulation on Kabuto, haven't seen that since Amazon :lol

Normally all Figuarts boxes look really nice.
In Kabuto 2.0's case, that box is downright sexy. |

Kabuto really does look sexy, would love if it came with something like a customised stand - something like metallic black/red coloured would have been nice.
I wouldnt mind SHF increase in price if the quality justifies it and there are less exclusive as an exclusive for us ends up similar to Kabuto's price anyway. Meanwhile here are some bigger pictures of some the recent reveals and the blue and red flames effect parts. |
So the Gaim riders are gonna come with closed and open lockseeds?
Those'll be fun to lose. At the same time that detailing on them is astounding. |

The Gaim SHF are gonna be amazing, I would love to buy every single Gaim SHF Bandai releases but, with the amount forms its gonna be EXPENSIVE. |
Oooh, yipes. It's going to be Astro Switches all over again.
|
That picture of all the Blade riders together looks damn awesome. Makes me want to buy them right now, except I can't since they aren't all released. Though I do plan on pre-ordering Chalice at some point soon.

Is there anyway Figuarts Gaim Jimber Arms can have swappable panels? IIRC, the visor doesn't change and the weapon is the same for every form so I wouldn't see the point in buying four separate figures just for a very slight armor modification.
|
I will be doing my damndest to get as many Gaim Figuarts as possible.
I only own four Figuarts, I've never fallen into the line like so many people say they have. But the Gaim Figuarts are almost spot-on and represent characters I truely like, so I can't not. I'm also gonna try and get at least a few Hibiki Figuarts. Enough for a jam session display at least. :lol |

I should watch Hibiki in preparation... |
I want Hibiki, Zanki/Todoriki, and Inibuki AT LEAST.

Ok, on that note, MMPR Black is up on Image Anime, and on BBTS on word of a poster on Rangerboard. If someone already posted this, disregard. If not, get to it Tokunites. I'm seriously tempted to get one tomorrow if IA has them in-store, but man don't want to hear it from my old lady. Couldn't wait to post this. |

So, no new Sentai Figuarts announced? Hmm. But oh man, new Kabuto is sexy - I'm looking forward to him.
I want those flame effect sets, but not for the prices they're asking for them. |

So for those who've dealt with Manderake, what's the usual going rate for like a FiguArts using EMS as the shipping method? Is that the cheapest?
|
from what people who have used it have said, I've never used it before though, it's fairly decent in both price & time of arrival.
|
I think I'm down to trying it, though I'm not sure how that'd work for like more than one FiguArts. It'd obviously go up price-wise I imagine, but I don't wanna defeat the purpose of getting something from Mandarake over Amazon and such. I've only used EMS shipping for like a comic and it wasn't too bad at all, so I wondered if it was the same for figures.
|
Personally I usually only ever use SAL. I can't afford to buy multiple figures in one go most of the time and anything above SAL is usually so expensive that it pretty much nullifies any savings so I may as well buy a bulk set of figures for what it is worth.
But I live in the UK so I dunno how it works out differently for others. |
just go to their site & either look for the about us or FAQ to find out how their ordering & shipping system works, that's how I found out if I can order multiple things before I even consider using a shop to purchase something.

But like Loke said the price for EMS depends on the country the item is being shipped to, EMS is actually a good service & not that expensive plus it doesn't take as long as SAL would.

SAL isn't actually that slow, either. It may be the "budget" option but the predicted shipping times are worst case scenarios. It wont be like shipping on Amazon, but on average it takes a couple of weeks at the very most. And considering SAL is like a fiver for a single figure, shipped in from Japan, a few weeks doesn't seem so bad to me at all. Is it really worth trippling that - or more - for the sake of getting it the same week? For some people I guess it is.
|
It never is for me either, unless I need it by a certain date for like gift. That was a mainly my question to begin with. I like the 'budget' shipping considering I'm quite patient.

I don't have the patience to wait for something I order as is, but to then trust methods that do not have tracking or will not get me my item in a few days is unbearable. |

I had issues with Manderake in the past. I try to order Ultra Act Ultraman Taro and it was around $20 in US dollar. Before I start to check out, the figure was going to be in total of $50 with shipping.
