You know, with King-Ohger telling a coherent story so far - I wonder if and when the change to episodes like "A malevolent toilet monster that steals ice cream coupons has appeared and is ruining everyone's day" will happen.

Like, I'm not opposed to it. It's Super Sentai after all. But I wonder what the show will be like if it happens, or if it never happens at all. Or rather, if it only happens every so often but the ongoing story will still take center stage.

The day we get the next Carranger equivalent. :lolol

Was Carranger as bad as Turbo? (I know Carranger brought Turbo to life but...)

Carranger is nothing like Turbo. It's a very different (and divisive) beast. Instead of a standard Sentai season, it acts as a parody of the standard Sentai (like if Akibaranger was official, made in the 90's, and was slightly more normal).

Well here's a random thought I have.

No matter how many times I try to watch a Sentai I :

- Never finish watching it for whatever reason, I never finished Jetman and I don't remember finishing Zyuranger

- I love Time Ranger and I think it's way better than Time Force

- Apart from Time Ranger, I have trouble getting invested in the story or the characters of other Sentais.

- I love Kamen Rider but I find Sentais to be too light in term of mood.

- Most of the time I prefer the Power Rangers versions even though I know they are clearly inferior to the source material.

Aaaand, that's all I think.

I can advise you to try to watch the Livemen. They have a fairly serious tone, and yet they do not go into the sometimes excessive drama of the Jetmen.

Yeah, I mentioned it for its comedic tone. Let's not forget that this was the show that had its rangers in a pizza and their red ranger uses up a wish for katsudon. And has their green ranger go all the way to the most Northern region of Japan to get a new weapon back because they sent the wrong package. :lolol

I am now convinced that I have to watch Carranger.
