After Geats i was ready for a more traditional rider (even though Geats ranks very high among my top 10 rider series), seems we are getting exactly that.

1- Apparantly i?m seeing a scarf
2- Armor parts are looking chromy. I dig it.

The sketch leaks had a scarf so the white thing is totally a scarf yeah, he's a grasshopper and a train at once, really vibe with the suit

That suit looks impressive so far! Can?t wait to see it in action.

But wonder what the story will be like in Gotchard? A mobile TCG game? Shadowverse style? Or like Megaman Battle Network?

Comparing Gotchard to the previous fake one reminds me of the Sonic meme.

He looks like a reference to other #5 Riders. 2 arrows and X symbol like X Rider. Uses cards and insect motif like Blade. Blue and orange colors and name starting with "Ga" like Gaim.

I immediately love the suit, as well as Steamliner's design!

I love that similar to how ultra is giving us a "post shin ultraman" ultra series, it seems rider is giving us a "post shin kamen rider" rider? I mean a blue steam powered grasshopper rider is definitely giving me ichigo vibes anyways lol

The belt.... uhhhh, I think I hate it?? Curious if there's any more too it than we're seeing but it looks a bit iverdesigned while also being literally nothing lol... wonder if it's designed to be modified by bigger gimmicks later on?

I'm kinda here for the cards though (and totally not just bc it's a barcode system so I'll be able to print my own to save money, that's definitely not the reason :lol )

Very excited to see who's writing this as by and large that's the make it or break it part of any rider show for me... the train theme is giving me (surely false) Yasuko Kobayashi hope lmao

Edit: with the two cards being level 9 and level 1 respectively I wonder if the form matches all have to add up to level 10?

Looks like Gotchard literally pops/transforms out of a Showa era rider. Perhaps Henshinzero's assumptions about Legacy Rider are not far from the truth. The weapon looks interesting, maybe too toy, but after Geats it's okay. I like this soft blue shade, very beautiful and corresponds to the marine theme. We also have an insect again, just three years after Zero-One.

Also, given the Reiwa trend, what can we expect from the final form? Shin or Ichigo 2016?

I kinda surprised we got a look at the full body this quick, but I do really dig the design.

The armor mostly going down his legs reminds me a lot of Zero One. And the driver looks like it won't be to bulky for fights (although Add-ons may change that).

Upon closer inspection, it looks like he has a brace or something on his left arm? It might be an additional device or just armor, I can't tell.

Oof, not a fan. Looks like Kiramei Silver got his hands on a Sclash Driver or something.

I believe this is the form of Gotchard when he only uses the Hopper1 card. When he combines Hopper1 with Steamliner, we get the form you see with the scarf. This is more of a "growing" form.

The belt looks like it combines two cards and mixes them together, not unlike Build/W but with less obvious separation.

I think the card values have to add up to 10 to make a combo.

So 4 Pirate goes with 6 Madwheel.
