Just for the record, the initial version of Yami Yugi was not only batshit crazy, but also the same size as regular Yugi. However, this only lasted until Duelist Kingdom or so, so there’s absolutely no reason to include a regular Yugi head with this figure since it’s clearly the Battle City Yami Yugi.

Either way, both could easily be done as an alternate head for a regular Yugi figure, since they are (as I explained earlier) the same size. Ignoring the Ankh's on the original Yami Yugi's forearms that is.

If they do acknowledge the existence of this Yami Yugi with an alternate head though... nah, don't think so.

after reading up to volume nine of the yugioh manga yami in the manga still the same size as normal yugi on tv tokyo NAS anime that decided to mak ehim taller. for odd reason i still wish instead of the HD version of the anime they made they did a full on remake of the man with first 7 volume included

Yes, but they are the same person. They don't change size to the characters, just to the view to know which is which. Plus, they could use the regular older head that he looks like in the upcoming movie.

So you're forgetting the fact that a photo was just shown that Atem is in fact taller than Yugi was at the end of the series and for all of the Duel Monsters series? Because really it is as plain as day. No trickery about it. Characters even talk about how Yugi seems taller when he duels. Not like they're being sneaky about it.

No, I'm talking about the interview with Takahashi where he said in reality they are the same person, there is no changing of their sizes or faces, that is only done to show the audience which version is which.

Been on a big Symphogear kick lately, so decided to track down the only two releases Figma ever did for the series. Gotta say, for older figures, they're extremely nice. Hibiki came with tons of accessories and is a total joy to pose. Tsubasa feels a lot like a prototype Satsuki Kiryuin; Her design hinders her somewhat, but she's still way more functional than she looks. They're probably two of my favorite releases to date.

I wish they'd done a season 2 or 3 Hibiki. I'll probably go back and get that version at some point but I prefer the later suits so much more :(

Well after a few days of hemming and hawing I finally decided to pre order Figma Yugi the idea of displaying him next to the ARTFX Dark Magician statues was too juicy of an idea to pass up.

crunchyroll store does ship world wide and i think even if crunchyroll avlible n germany for streaming it will ship item from there store there to you along with the store currency changing to your region currency.

Eh… but the price isn’t getting any better I’ll imagine. It’s still too pricy for me. Would’ve been better if they just released the DX-version as the normal one in stores because then I would’ve gotten a discount from Japanese retailers.

But now I pay the full price + the step-up for it being the DX version + the price up from the import retailers. And that’s too much for me to pay for this figure.

As much as I would like to have the hookshot I don't really need it or the other accessories. I'd much rather just pay for the regular version and get the essentials and maybe try to track down the extras at some other point in time.

You say "all that you miss you on", but that's pretty much all of the accessories you've listed there. I think the annoyance is pretty justified when the DX version is only less than 1000 yen more than the standard one (not counting for retailer discounts or anything like that). It basically doesn't need to exist when they could have easily crammed it all into one set. Hell only a few months ago they put up a Figma that comes with a damn car as an accessory.

I can't imagine tracking them down separately will be at all easy. These things aren't going to be like GSC exclusive bits where they're in a separate bag - the DX will have a unique box and I can't see buyers that willing to break it up.

I was about to say the same thing. That is A LOT of stuff to miss out on if you don't get the deluxe one. I either want the deluxe one or nothing at all.
