I finally had my first taste of Gaim's fruity goodness with this month TV-kun's freebie : the Fresh Orange lockseed.
Hell, the wait until the Figuarts release is excruciating..!!

Yeah. It works better on DX seeds since they're spring loaded. On the Candy/Gash they sorta just fall. If you do it with the right force, they can lock in sometimes. Otherwise they'll sorta bounce like I'm sure you've seen in demo videos.

Man, I want one, but I can't justify the price they're going for.

can you make the noises in the locks without the driver?

For Gashapon and Candy Toy, you have no problem doing that since the noises are all linked to pressing the "battle" button. On the back of DXs, you'll see the "battle" button, along with two little rectangles. The one closer to the button is the button that is pressed when it's in the Musou Saber, while the other is the one linked to the Driver/Henshin sounds.

Man, I wish I had a local store to buy those magazines from. And if there are, I don't know of any.

Got the line of Arms Change including Suika arms and the alternative arms change sets. Love this line. Checking on the prices of the Lock Vehicles, why is the Sakura Hurricane 5000yen+ and Rose Attacker only around 2000yen? Is there really that much demand?

I know the video is Durian, but pretty much shows you where to install an LED in your candy toy Lock Seeds :D

I think I'll attempt the LED thing at some point. Could be cheaper alternative than buying the LED version locks.

Also, would anyone happen to be collecting lock seeds but not getting a driver? I may grab an extra Blood Orange for the faceplate and just sell the seed.

Hey there, just finished the currently aired episodes of Gaim (minus 14, can't find it anywhere yet) but gotta say I'm hooked, which means I had to look into the toy offerings which then led to my wallet dying a little bit more but based on what I've seen it's going to be worth it.

I've got most of the AC figures in "processing" at HLJ just on the off chance they get a few in stock, fingers crossed, but I do have one quick question, can someone tell me in a pure opinion based answer which of the lock seeds seem to be worth the price or better value if that makes any sense?

Well are you gonna go full DX or a mix? Because Durian, donguri and Maturobokkui(Pinecone) don't have a DX version and only have a candy toy and gashpoon version.

The hardest part of doing this shoot was getting Mango to stay up like that...

I gotta agree with everybody that Mango feels the "cheapest" and that they copped out when they made the cape out of plastic when it would've been better to be a cloth. I still think it looks great on Baron though, and love the color scheme, even if actual mangos aren't completely red on the outside :lol

If the cape was made of cloth it wouldnt work as a mango... I dont think it feels cheap. Just a bit... over complex. Making stuff floppy and harder to get back into fruit mode than all the others. Looks cool though.
