I have to say....I enjoyed Episode 0 a lot more than a lot of the actual episodes so far. It was tense, action-packed, and Proto-Drive is a badass.

I can see where Switchblade is coming from, the humor does need to be dialed back a bit. It doesn't have to be Gaim, but at the very least not make it feel so forced. W and OOO were fairly good at doing that I feel.

Right now, it feels like ORE Journal from Ryuki, except if ORE journal were to take up all the screentime and if Reiko didn't bother balancing out the wackiness of the environment.

I don't know why they add Comic Relief character in Drive! Maybe it's might be Toei's idea to add comic relief character, Not Riku Sanjo (his job is to write a storyline and dialogue g or character, not create the character)

If you the head writer of Drive, What do you do with those Comic Relief character? Think! Use your imagination (and no, I am not using ToQger's word)

Well, I LOVE Drive. I love the Chief's humor and the overall tone of the series. I agree though, that Episode 0 was amazing. I loved the feel of it too, and honestly.. I think it's one of the best Kamen Rider experiences I've ever had. It was beautiful done and left so much for me to think about. I think the series will slowly get more intense. It already seems like it's broken the two episode trend hasn't it? Isn't the Volt arc now three episodes?

Looks like he might redeem himself and become a Rider. Or... he stays rather neutral and get's a powerup.

I hope he stays the way he is until the very end, then joins the riders. A pwoerup for him would be realy cool though.

I can't believe Chase is a roidmude with a number code 0. Here I thought Proto-Drive was altered by Heart & Brain to become Mashin Chaser.

Wow, I never expected chase's roimude number to be 000. Does this mean he was the first ever roimude in existence or just a prototype? Of course it does but still chase's history has become even more mysterious than it already was.

Was it ever confirmed that proto-Drive's user was human in the first place? Maybe one of the conditions regarding the drive's proto system is that only a roidmude could use it...

I'm thinking 000 is the proto-type roidmude. Remember Mr. Belt said the roidmudes killed their creator. 000 could have escaped harm, found Mr. Belt and became proto-Drive. I believe The roidmudes like the shift cars were designed to aid humanity as reflected by Chases actions up to this point. It's also possible that 000 has never seen his true form (he could gave given a human form prior to activation) or had his memories erased by brain (only saying him since he's the tech guy among the big bads). I'm saddly calling Hearts demise within the next several episodes since he has that overheating problem and named dropped Deadheat in relation to it and with Mach coming next episode.

Yeah I agree with your theory. I definitely feel Chase is both the Prototype to Drive and the Roimudes. I also feel that Mr. Belt has seen Chase in his 000 form before because he finally recognizes him and has not seen his human form before. I also agree that Heart will be defeated soon because of that Deadheat mention too.

That makes no sense, Belt-san recognizes the human Chase in episode 3. In a way that suggests he knows that this human was Proto-Drive, because he says "That man... it can't be!".

From my understanding, there could be actually two things here: Number 000 and the human that was Proto Drive. Number 000 was with the Roidmudes, sleeping, and in the night of the Global Freeze the Roidmudes captured Proto Drive and used him as a base to awaken 000 and form him into Mashin Chaser.

I think the human that was Proto Drive has still something about him we don’t know yet. Maybe he was Steinbelt's or his colleagues son?

And now, the real (heroic) personality of the human seems to become dominant and Chase/000 has this moments where he cant harm humans.

My bad, I misremembered how Mr. Belt reacted to Chase at first. However I wasn't wrong with what I was thinking, Mr. Belt reacted differently when he first saw Chase, and then saw 000.

I agree with you that the man was Proto Drive is the form Chase is copying and that the memories are seeping into 000's head from there because he couldn't shoot Kiriko and let Drive stop Volt too. Thus why Chase is having memory issues right now. I think it might be a different take on what they did in Kabuto with Kamen Rider Sasword. Also if Chase was Proto Drive in any way, shape, or form, then I definitely feel he will reclaim the title Kamen Rider if he turns good because Chaser will either regain the human forms memories and feel bad and want to atone for what he's become or have his memories from that time be erased and become an even more powerful Roimude. Also the possibility of both things I mention happening as well.

Why is drive so good man? All of the characters are just so likeable, the suits are gorgeous, and everything is just so good. Gaim was one of my favorite riders but Drive will definitely outdo it if it keeps at this pace and quality.

Its pretty likely that this is whats going on in the show right now. Belt reacted to seeing the human Chase with shock and when we got the revelation of Chaser being 000 he reacted differently now knowing what Chase really is.

Proto-Drive was very likely a human and that human was Chase. When he was killed by Heart they used his Data to give 000 a human form and a personality. Instead of an evolved Roidmude from though they created Mashin Chaser instead. Why has yet to be revealed.

What I would really like to see is that Chase doesnt become good again but instead wants to embrace the Roidmude side of himself. Seeing his human side as a weakness that prevents him from achieving the strength he needs to defeat Kamen Rider.

Still wish that Drive & Mach aren't the only riders in the Drive series.

Drive's powers are associated with cars and Mach's powers are associated with motorcycles.

I still think...

3rd rider: trucks
4th rider: rescue vehicles (fire, police, construction)
5th rider: military vehicles (tanks, jets, helicopters)

First of all, at the pace this show is going there's no way there'll be that many more Riders if any. Second, Drive already covers trucks and rescue vehicles.

That said. A military vehicle Rider sounds awesome.

Military vehicle rider is good. What about trucks meaning carrier trucks & oil tankers? Those ones? That can be suited for a 4th rider.

Planes or Boats could make a good vehicle rider.
