I'm hesitant to say this, but maybe the combined form is posable? If we're lucky the big legs can split apart and bend, as well as the arms. It looks like this isn't so, but a guy can dream, right?
|
Brick...not going to get a case for this one, just wait until I can find the set individually cheaper since I won't have as much success breaking even, I think.
Would only get it for the base mode, but I have yet to see combinations so I'll hold off on judging it fully yet. |
I got myself in Minipla form today! :D
|
Got the clear case two days ago. Has a complete set of all 9 needed, but there is 3 random extras (green, blue, yellow diesel) that I need to get rid of. Anyone interested?

From the looks of TeiOh I don't think we'll be seeing ToQ Rainbow in Minipla form. Plus I can't guess how much this would cost since Bragigas prices have skyrocketed recently. What do you guys think?

Minipla. They went from $70.00-$95.00 when I found them a while back. Hopefuly for collectors they've settled down.
|
lol whuuu? I've always listed mine around 20-25 depending on current demand. My last listing was for $18

I appreciate other sellers that know the difference between eBay prices and what the items are going for at normal retailers.
Mandarake serves as a great reference for what some things should really be going for. |

Hyper Ressha review is up. Looks really disappointing to me. |
Are you kidding? All that crazy mixing they did with all the Ressha was an awesome way to overcome TeiOh's limits. Sure, it's not perfect. But it does SO much more than the DX versions. Really looking forward to picking these up now!

Yeah, as a standalone it disappoints. But that's of course due to the design rather than the model kit itself.
|
Eh. Even with the fanmade combos at the end there it still looks pretty awful. Such a shame to end such a superb line on this.

Got my case of the 2nd set of clears. Have an extra of the Fire Ressha, Police, Drill #4, and #2 and #3 of the set.
Still have the extra clear Green Ressha and Diesel Yellow from the first set as well, so let me know if any of these interest you. |

Now that looks pretty good. Ninja mecha always benefit from more joints.

But the dragon mode will clinch it for me. |
Nice articulation on that ShurikenJin, but it looks like they used all the decals on small details and left large swaths of solid color elsewhere. But that's what paint is for.
|
|
The Shurikenjin mini-pla is up for pre-order on AmiAmi. Get it while you can!

The Rainbow and the brick.

Really like what I see from these toys. How far back does this line go? What Sentai did it start with? Have they been consistent in their Mecha releases?
|
I'm not sure how far they go back (it's at least Zyuranger, but they didn't start getting properly articulated until around Gekiranger if I remember rightly). If by consistent you mean "release all of them", then yes.
|
Nice! Thanks for that.
|
The candy toys started really improving around Magiking, but the articulation got added in around Go-Onger. So far, the only line I've really had issues with is Kyoryuger since they botched the elbows by keeping in a fake version of the battery attachments.
One of the cool things about Ninninger's "every theme ever" mecha designs is that you can add just about any previous candy toy to it since they all use the same peg sizes. |

Are there any signs of the rest of the AUX mecha for nininjer being realeesed in minla form? They are really behind the ball on them right now. |
Qestion, ToQger minipla Teih oh or minipla safari Gao?

MiniPla TeiOh was a big disappointment to me. I like MiniPla for adding poseability to mecha. TeiOh managed to only remove features from the DX release. |

Yeah Gao-Oh is hands down the best out of all the ToQger minipla. The only thing TeiOh has going for it is size.

Minipla
