I'm talking about the Kamen Rider Black on there. It's weird though. This seller has one for $50, but it won't let me use my Prime membership, but the one he is selling for $60 does. How is that even possible? It should either let me use it on all of them or not at all.

Prime applies to items either sold by Amazon or items sellers store at Amazon's warehouses and has Amazon fulfill their orders for them. The seller likely has some stored and fulfilled by Amazon and some he keeps and ships himself.

Meh, it doesn't matter, I ordered the one with the Prime stuff just now. I will have my first Figuarts on Wed. He better be worth the damn price!!!

I felt that same way at first. I honestly didn't think they were worth the price. But you really do get what you pay for. Figuarts are top notch (With the exception of my vegeta's loose shoulder). Just be careful with the small things like headpieces. My brother broke his Den-os antenna right out of the box. Your ganna really enjoy your figure. Nothing better than posing a character you love!

That is my biggest fear of opening these things, especially when I buy Shadow Moon. I just hope they aren't Square-Enix fragile.

Do you think they will ever do Figuarts of the Blade and Kiva cast?

Actually... Last I checked it was still with Bluefin in conjunction with BoA. They are still trying to get distribution rights to KR and Sentai exclusives, but it just ain't happening like they have been with D-Arts and Monsterarts (unless it's DBZ or Tiger and Bunny related).

New S.H. Figuarts Akibaranger commercial, with an end snippet for Deka Red and the Deka Wapper.

They'll get there eventually. We saw Figuarts Saga at a convention back in 2010, but it hasn't really showed up again since then. Bandai tends to do Figuarts from a series in waves and right now the three waves they're working on are Fourze (natch), Ryuki, and the Showa era. Once they finish/suspend one of those we'll see them move on to a different show (possibly Den-O, if Climax and Sword forms are any indication). We will eventually get all the Riders done, though.

I wouldn't hold my breath for Blade or Hibiki figures, though. Those two lines had the lowest toy sales of the Heisei era and are clearly the lowest priority for the Figuarts line. That said, Bandai has enjoyed pulling surprise final form Riders out of its butt around Christmas, so it wouldn't shock me too much if King Form suddenly appears at a product unveiling this fall.

But Blade is one of the best KR series out there period, if not the best, so they better do Figuarts of them!

Hibiki on th eother hand is one of the worst series, if not the worst. I would rather watch Den-O again than suffer through another episode of Hibiki.

BTW, Otoya, what is that green monster thing next to the two green Kamen Riders on the right-hand side of your sig?

EDIT: I just realized that I own a Souchaku Hensihin Kamen Rider Ouja I never opened. I just did, and he is pretty awesome and feels solid. Are the Blade and Kiva ones of this series solid? Myabe I will just go for those versions.

I don't have any Ryuki SHs, but the Den-O and Kiva ones are WAY better than the single SH TheBee I have. The poseability is much closer to figuarts, the main weaknesses being the hands, and the ankles. There's no poseability to the ankles, and the articulated hands suck at holding things.
I'm glad I got that big TRU exclusive SH Den-O five pack, because it includes a new molded holding-things hand for each of the four main forms.
But anyway, the later SH are pretty good, but compared to most figuarts, they're still pretty weak. The Ryuki SHFs are fantastic, you should see about getting one, Ouja is probably the cheapest, having fewer, and smaller accessories, but he's pretty awesome, still.

All the way back in the incredibly informative Vangelus interview, Bluefin confirmed that they had no part in the SHF Shinkenger release at Toys'R'Us. They weren't working with Bandai America on that. The SRC Daizyujin, on the other hand... there's currently no information either way.

Random question: Is there any particular reason some Figuarts boxes say "Kamen Rider" while others say "Masked Rider"? I only just noticed it and was curious as to whether there was any actual reason behind it.

I forget the reason, but I think everything from W up says Kamen Rider while everything before says Masked Rider.

It's a Toei thing. Every series before Double was officially romanized as Masked Rider, going the fully translated route, while everything afterward is Kamen Rider. Also ties into Dragon Knight and how the series wanted to distance itself from Masked Ri-Dur.

Everything in the second pic came from Mandarake. The website said the boxes were "damaged", but really, everything is in perfect shape. I got TheBee for $50! eBay has him for around $100. And it gets better. I had chosen SAL shipping (3-4 weeks) to keep the total price as low as possible and guess what? The package got here from Asia after only 11 days!!:eek:

Yeah, I don't know if I want to order from Mandrake. In all honesty, I don't like ordering from Japan unless it is from Amazon. I'm sure Mandrake is great, but when I see "opened/damaged" I get worried, because I am not sure what that means. I don't want to buy a figure, think I am getting a good deal, and then it turns out he has a broken antenna or something.
