a new rider...?
Maybe its Gai's upgrade...since he is getting beaten by both our heroes and Metsuboujinrai right now... xD |

I'm calling my cards now.
I mean we're iffy on this given you know Covid, but I feel confident in saying that if we get a summer movie, the villain is gonna have a retooled Thousandriver. Because it's like the only thing left that hasn't been retooled. |
It's a pretty cool looking suit, very creepy. Looks more like a monster than a Rider, but with the Raiders the line between monster and Rider is already pretty thin in Zero-One

Gonna throw a theory out there even though I haven't watched the show. I think maybe Ark/Arc Zero could be looking to merge all intelligent life into one hive mind, so that no conflict can happen, or something like that.
This would put them opposed to both MetsubouJinrai.net and Aruto and allies. I don't know if this is at all feasible, because I haven't watch the show, but it seems like it could work. |

I am surprised that he's actually getting new forms again, it'll be great to not just see him use Metal Hopper like 500 more times before the final. Then again, this could be like a Telebi snippet and he won't actually get new forms in the show.. |

Gonna throw this out there, but I think that KR Ark Zero (which I personally really like) is gonna be an Ark-possessed long-haired Izu. Also, from the way that the Ark Zero Driver looks, it seems like it'll flip open as opposed to how the Zero One Driver slides open.

Ark-Zero looks awesome, like a corrupted version of Zero-One. It's not 100% an original suit but the additions they made to it - like the asymmetrical helmet and design - are very thoughtful.
Looks like a lot of cool stuff is happening, Ikazuchi and Naki returning in physical form, Horobi fighting Zero-One and Thouser, and Yua quitting Zaia. I am excited for the direction the show will take going forward. |
So... I know this is sorta off topic from the Ark-0 stuff, but I recently saw the Project Thouser special, and since I probably shouldn't post my ramblings about it in the episode discussion. I'm posting it here:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall I thought the special was fine. It was mostly reused footage, but it did re-contextualize a lot of the early episodes and answered several questions. Disclaimer: This is only my brief summary that lacks a lot of other important details. Gai's primary motivation was always about "the money". -Remember his whole "Humanity First" shtick from the competition arc? That was actually just a mere symptom of his "Everything and Everyone is a Dōgu(Tool) to be used as I see fit!" mindset. Humagears or rather AI in general just happen to fall under his umbrella term of "things". In reality Gai actually views other humans as tools too. -Fuwa was specifically assigned to become KR Vulcan because his recklessness would only speed up the process of gathering data on the ProgRise Keys for ZAIA. Gai even instructed Yua to give Fuwa the Punching Kong key because he knew Fuwa would try to use it immediately. (This leads into the events of episode 4 where Yua hands Fuwa the Punching Kong key at Daybreak town) Naki's character arc, which was quickly wrapped up in episode 32, actually begins here in this blu-ray special. -Naki, was a weapons developer humagear, who was recovered by ZAIA after the Daybreak incident. They originally obeyed Gai completely, however Horobi's talk of revolting against the human tyrants began make Naki question who they really were. -Naki was also the one to inform Horobi of the Gigar units (those giant mech things that look like Breaking Mammoth), and gave him the Amazing Hercules key. (This is why Horobi suddenly decides to target the exact AIMS facility where they were producing the Gigar units in episode 8, as well as how he randomly got the Amazing Hercules key) -Naki's original body was damaged after Gai shot Naki (with an actual gun) for going against "the plan" and informing Horobi of the Gigar units. Immediately afterwards, Yua informs Gai of Fuwa's extensive injuries from a battle with Horobi. (also episode 8) This is likely when Gai has Naki implanted into Fuwa's head. TLDR: Lots of critical plot stuff that got cut out, but narrative-wise I can sorta see why they did it as the information only really becomes critical to the plot when Gai and ZAIA formally take center stage after the MetsuBoJinRai arc. |

Ark-Zero's helmet design is spectacular, it looks so wrong in exactly the right way. I stared at it for a while trying to figure out why it unnerves me so much, and then it hit me: I felt like it was staring back at me, because its left eye looks like an actual eye! I mean look at it: The white dot is the pupil, the disk shapes around it are the iris and white, and the antenna is the eyebrow in a permanent "I'm gonna kill you" glare. So creepy!
I just hope it lives up to that menace once we see it in action. |

Still find it weird we have no info on a final form for Zero One tbh kinda like how we get to guess for the first time since Ghost since Muteki/Genius/Grand Zi-O got leaked around February 2017/2019 in Muteki/Grand Zi-O respectively HELL I REMEMBER seeing Genius form leaks in December 2017 AND HOPING THEY WEREN'T TRUE also can we PLEASE GET SOMETHING BREAKING THE KIWAMI ARMS KNOCKOFF/GOLD FINAL FORM PATTERN, I didn't like Genius in Build cause it all SCREAMED Kiwami Arms hell a big reason why I didn't like Build as much as most was it felt like a copy paste of Gaim(NOT SAYING IT WAS BAD even during the second half there were still high points, at least I liked Mugen Damashii enough to the point where it KINDA GETS A PASS Plus it felt like they were incorporating Ghost's Ore form unlike most Final forms after Wizard where they just slap whatever they felt like (THOUGH I was expecting Grand Zi-O to be exactly what it was)

Due to COVID19, the next Teribi issue will come out on the fifth ofJune, meaning we'll likely see the final form by then
|
So now that my hype for Kirama Silver has cooled down, I'm gonna say it, Ark Zero looks like Kikaider from hell. Now someone please paint it red and blue for me. :lolol

Good news, I heard Japan is going to lift the state of emergency on Monday, since cases are dropping a lot, so that means hopefully in two weeks, we'll be getting episodes again.
EDIT: Well. "preparing" too, but just cross our fingers. |
They’ve confirmed the VA for Ark-Zero.
And I don’t recognise him. Just know that he’s not an actor that’s already been involved with the show. I found out because he shared it on his Twitter. |
To those curious it's Sho Hayami.
If you've watched anime you'll recognize him since this is his first live action role. Some roles include the Brave series as he's done the titular characters like Exkaiser and Da-Garn. Wolfwood from Trigun, Zarbon from DBZ and of course it's fitting he's the villain since he in Bleach he was Aizen's VA. |
Soa soma

And if people assuming the Summer Movie is going to be cancelled still need a reality check, Toei have just posted their annual 'we need lots of extras for the Kamen Rider Summer Movie' casting call.
Production appears to be going smoothly - especially as Japan's lockdown is already being lifted bit by bit. |

a possible new form for Zero-One on the way?
|
Lmao got SNIPED
As the cool kids say, OwO what is this?? I get more movie form vibes from it, or like a "pre-final form" form. If I had to make a quick guess, without whatever goes into the unused belt slot you end up with that form? |
There's no way that's his final, right?
I mean I wouldn't complain, I'd love a final that's a lot more subdued and close to the base form! But I highly doubt this is the case. |
