I feel like it's an Inoue thing because reading the Kamen Rider Die Watches Kiva thread made me realize how many upgrades in Inoue shows come completely out of nowhere and with, like, no build up.

Oh it's DEFINITELY an Inoue thing; the guy does not mix well with toys. Definitely not complaining though

I think my only worry of tying forms to stamps that make the monsters is that we're not going to end up with a lot of monsters outside of the first quarter and we'll just go back to Rider vs Rider because yes.

It'd be cool if we kept seeing them though, so long as it doesn't do the Build thing and only decide a select four are worth keeping around and then they proceed to make them lifeless by making them the least interesting color choices ever via gunmetal grey.

I'm assuming we're going to get more vistamps than the initial ten? It feels weird to only do half of the heisei riders, so I feel like it's safe to assume we'll get all 20? And if we're getting 2 parter episodes then they could stretch 20 enemies and gimmicks out to 40 episodes, then have 10 episodes of finale plot

Personally I'm not the biggest fan of the two parter format so I kinda hope we don't see it return yet again, tho after the last couple years, as much as I liked the last 2 series, it might be nice to have a more "standard" format series

The premise of the season doesn't really seem to entertain the idea of Legend Rider tributes much. If anything I'd expect it to be more comparable to Zenkaiger

I think my fears of Revice of been eased somewhat, Since I discovered the producer behind it did Gaim, Drive and Kiramager. So It'll be light hearted, then have some dark elements later on.

Please remeber that while pirating Revice and buying toys will not financially support Subaru Kimura, listening to a song he's in on Spotify will likely put money directly into his pocket, as would presumably any official YouTube releases of the song if you don't use adblock or if you have a premium account

So I just wanted to warn anyone trying to not support Kimura while still looking forward to Revice (like myself): Listening to the song on Spotify or streaming/buying other official digital or physical release of the song is a lot more likely to give Kimura money than basically anything else you could do right now, and it seems pretty easy to do without realizing it too, so I hope this warning helps

It looks like this won't work at all with the driver(?), unlike the SG toys for Zi-O, 01 and Saber. I guess that's because the Vistamps use IR to communicate between the gimmick and the driver, would probably be too expensive to implement in cheap candy toys.

Toy reviews make it seem the belt has no sounds at all, it only seems to have lights, at least from what I've seen, it doesn't even have an activation sounds

I don't think there's a speaker visible on it anywhere, so I think the stamps are literally everything like Gashats or Gaia Memories

Oh wow, really?? I thought it at least said the modes, like Remix and such; that's how most sound item belts (Sengoku, 01 etc) did it. That's... ~interesting~ then! So the SG/GP ViStamps not having much in the way of belt interaction really shouldn't matter much.

Yeah it's interesting that the belt has lights but no sounds to me, because for Gaia Memories and Gashats the belts just did literally nothing? And like you said the Sengoku Driver and Zero-One driver both had some sounds... it makes this belt unique in an odd way though, as does the IR activation stuff, very unique

And yeah if the belt can click the button on the SG ones then it should be fine, but that's not how the DX ones activate at all so it's hard to say for sure if the SG ones will function smoothly, or if it's going to require awkward fiddling

I'm hoping the bottom is designed in a way where when you pull the stamp for the lever movement it'll just push the button enough to do the sounds? I hope we don't just have to take it out press the button for the action we want to do (henshin, finisher, remix) it does a stand by jingle then slot it in, and then it does the sound after a bit, thats the worst case option imo (well I guess its better than not working in the belt at all)

Since it's nearly impossible to get all the sounds out of this dx line without the belt tho SG would be a good option for people who just want all the sound effects but don't really care about the belt, so that's cool imo

Will Ikki's family know his identity as Revi along with Vice's existence? Remember the formula Akari made in Ghost to reveal the old man? Maybe George might give something like that to Sakura (if she'll be involved with Revice) when she's uses it on Vice so that they can communicate.

Good news! The SG stamps do have magnets and do work with the DX Revice Driver, but they do not work with other DX toys and don't have stamping action (if I've understood correctly).

As of now, there is no concrete information on pricing (at least I wasn't able to find any).

It doesn't seem like we'll be getting a 2nd Rider as early as we have been in the past few shows so that at least leaves a bit more time for traditional Kaijin fighting. I think there's only six confirmed Deadman so far.

Looking at the back of a DX Vistamp, there's a rectangular hole where the button would 1be on the SG. Betting that's to accomodate a part on the belt that would push the button. The belt likely has a light pattern for use when a Vistamp doesn't have IR, so the SG would just be lacking a few features but otherwise would be most of the experience.

And looking at pictures of the Revice Driver without a Vistamp in it, I'm pretty sure I see a peg that would pop out when you tilt the Vistamp, much like the ones in the Seiken Sworddriver that pop up when you pull the sword out.

I'm usually a sucker for the DX toys, especially when they have lights and the SG line doesn't, but tbh I still don't really know if I'm getting any Revice toys at all so I can't say I have a huge personal preference this year

I mentioned it before, but the SG line this year does seem like a good option for people who wanna get all the hesnhin sounds but don't want to buy the belt

Which is honestly extra reasonable this year the belt doesn't do all that much and the gimmick has literally all the sounds, and the dx stamps are a total pain to get sounds out of without the belt (I saw a guy on YouTube who had to rig up a custom IR light just to do it), so if the sounds are what you get the toys for the SG is definitely a great value

If you like the toys for show accuracy tho then the DX are gonna be the way to go like usual I'm sure
