Have we ever had a bull-themed Rider before? I can remember some bull-themed Kaijin.

Zolda from Ryuki and Zeronos from Den-O.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but for me, the "royal battle" is still something alien to kamen riders. It's not that "heroes shouldn't fight and kill each other" (although they shouldn't!), but for me personally, a typical rider is a transforming guy on a motorcycle with a group of friends and helpers saving people from monsters with whom something connects to him.
However, I'm also very interested in Geats and I'm sure it will be an interesting show. If not in plot (it?s still too early to talk about it), then visually accurate.

Zolda, Zeronos and the bull rider from Geats have a "zombie" item... Is there any connection between the bull and Z in Japan or is it just a coincidence?

I can see Taicoon being real, iirc tanukis are associated with greed and the like. Not sure about the other 3 tho.....If they're real, that bumps up the Rider count to...what, 10-11 to start? That sounds a bit unreasonable in comparison, (yet somewhat reasonable, as I'd imagine ID Cores seem like the easisest part of the toyline to churn out....? )

Also! Preorders for the Desire Driver thru Team Kamen Rider for the US are up!

As teased in an earlier interest poll, these preorders will come roughly 2 months later than the JPN release, but cost a good deal less! (As of rn, the fate of campaign items like the Revice Buckle are up in the air, so if you *really* want that Revice Buckle for whatever reason, better go thru JPN just to be safe!)

Ohhh this is tempting just to make sure I get it... But I'm a pretty impatient person so I might wind up just hoping to get the Japanese version from my preferred retailer, just for the chance to get it in September lol

I had assumed the changing patterns on the ring were thanks to an overlay, but it looks like it's actually a screen of some kind?

Seems to be a combination of both: The more elaborate plates have their own overlay which will presumably light up differently from the ring underneath, while the simpler ones will only have the screen itself.

So...they'll be airing a Geats promo?

It could be straight up anything, really. Not sure we'll get a proper cameo in Revice tonight (with Invincible Jeanne's debut (and potenially OD Tamaki and Juuga's as well?) I think that episode is a little too stuffed to fit him in....?) Could just be them announcing the press conference date, could be showing off a new Rider for Geats.

Maybe Buffer/Buffa could be fully revealed?

I know im hyped for nothing cause there is almost no chance the two announcements are related but damn the timing doesn't help.
If he isn't in the show, at least make some kind of fun announcement where it's him as a video game company director announcing something related to Geats game.

I think Toei intentionally made two announcements at the same time to raise awareness for both. There are smart enough people sitting there to understand that the fans will find a connection and it will interest them.

It could be for yet another entry in the Genms The Presidents special, since apparently that ended on a cliffhanger? They might throw in a Geats character in there too for the hell of it.

It seemed to me that the sequel should traditionally be released in April 2023.

If it's Kuroto's actor, I assume it's probably going to be the next President's Crossover.

Surprise, Geats is actually a full-on Ex-Aid sequel.

Dan's gonna show up in Geats to sue the Desire Grand Prix for stealing concepts from Kamen Rider Chronicle (and just for fun he'll be represented in court by the Humagear lawyer from Zero-One)

Seems like the leaks were dead-on: we got Tanuki, Buffa (mistaken as bull in leaks), Naago(cat), Ginpen(penguin), Merry(sheep, might be a ram?), and Daipan(panda)! Gang's all here!

Looks like the Bull Rider has a Chainsaw-sword.
He’s the best Rider by default.

Ah I get it, Taicoon cause it's like Tycoon (a businessperson of exceptional wealth, power, and influence), and because Tanuki in folklore are associated with great wealth/fortune.

I'm glad there's actually a physical bike (for however much we see it). It looks like Boost needs to be the top half for him to be able to ride it, otherwise it's just for the Finisher. I like the design already.

Judging by the promo and what we know, Taicoon is the secondary Rider (natch), Naago is the tertiary (and probably the female Rider), and Daipan might be the Lazer? I only assume because it seems like they featured those three deliberately as probably the most prominent Riders after Geats. I wonder if Merry is also a female Rider.

I'm curious how many of the Seven Riders on that poster will survive past the first arc.

Merry is a common word associated with sheep/lamb.
Don't know exactly what's the reason but One Piece already did it 25 years ago so it might be something very old.
