I love the butthurt on Gamefaqs right now saying that Smash Bros now is forever ruined because of Cloud and that anyone can be in Smash now.

My eternal respect if that song doesn't make it in.
Because I like to be a downer like that and Sephiroth isn't in the game so having it makes no sense anyway.

I'm just gonna throw a random guess for a future DLC Smash character.
I'm thinking they might put something Yokai watch related into Smash, i think it would make sense with how they pretty much adopted that series into their family of franchises.

Ken isn't in Smash either.

In the WiiU version Ken's theme is in Suzaku castle.

I feel like Cloud in Smash was bigger news then Ryu in Smash. With Ryu, Street Fighter has a decent history on Nintendo. People said that Cloud would never be in Smash since Final Fantasy 7 has been a major Sony title and Cloud has little to no history with Nintendo. Small roles in Kingdom Hearts hardly counts. Final Fantasy 7 almost represents Playstation since the late 90's.

I feel like Cloud in Smash is the most random news in the series since Snake in Brawl in my opinion. It was something no one expect to happen. Ryu was a surprise, but he had a chance to be in Smash given how popular SF2 was on the SNES back in the day. Cloud was a character that people always believe had zero chance being in Smash. For the people bitching about Cloud, people forget that he is DLC! You don't like him then don't buy him! Simple as that.

Snake in Brawl made a ton of sense because of Twin Snakes. This is an entirely different beast here :lol

I just feel that Ryu being added is more momentous than Cloud.
Yes, he was a larger surprise, but that's basically it. He's a character that caught people off guard, pulling a Lucas by appearing out of nowhere.
I don't feel he's a big deal.

Also, I'mma bitch as much as I want about Cloud until the next wave of DLC hits!
And no one forgot that he's DLC. It's that, begrudgingly, some people feel a need to buy him since he's the second DLC character that isn't just an HD version of a previously cut character.

Eh, I don't feel strongly about Cloud getting into Smash either way.

On one hand I can relive the Cloud/Link Death Battle in SSB4 and that's pretty fricking cool if you ask me. On the other hand I never was that big into FF but I'm looking forward to seeing kjust what Cloud can do.

And then kick his ass with Luigi.
