What would you do if your girlfriends or your friends find out about your obsession with Super Sentai and Kamen Rider?

They will be like "Are you too old for this kids show? It's too weird! You're a grown man who watch a little kid show! Why are you watching a Power Rangers rip-off crap?"

This would be a scariest situation for your guys if you don't give them a reason of your obsession with Sentai and Rider stuff

I got my best friend into Kamen Rider. All of my friends are geeky/nerdy type of people that like the same type of stuff that I like. Friends should accept on what you enjoy even if they don't like it as long if it's not hurting any one. No one is going to tell me on what I can or can't enjoy. I would not be friends with people if they don't accept me for who I am.

My girlfriend has known for the five years we've been together and while not especially interested in the franchise, has no problems with me watching it or buying figures. She also knows enough that she can recognise certain Riders like W, Fourze, Decade and Gaim.

She also buys her own figures and also watches shows primarily made for children.

A good portion of my friends I got into Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. When I lived in student housing we used to watch Gokaiger together every week.

In short, stop generalising because not everyone is super judgemental.

They don't "Find out." I just straight up tell them.
Like when a friend who wasn't aware I liked Sentai started asking what I was watching so often, I let him know. I even had a little laugh by showing him Zyuoh The World holding his fishing rod and flashlight, since even with context, it's still really silly.

My obsessions aren't something I'm ashamed or afraid of (Well...90% of them I'm not), so my friends finding out don't really bother or frighten me.

You should not be friends with people that mock you for what you like. If they make fun of you for liking a show that is market to kids, they can fuck off. It may sound rude, but I dealt with people that made fun of me behind my back for liking things that I enjoy like Japanese monsters, anime and manga.

A weird question but if you somehow become the president of Toei, What is your first thing to do with Super Sentai and Kamen Rider?

Super Sentai, calm down on the Red heavy shit. Give other characters the spotlight and development.

Kamen Rider, tone down on the overly loud comic relief. Keep the comic relief, but tone it down. Oren was the perfect amount/example.

Don't be a a closet fan with other people. If other people judge you for it, let them be and move on. However just don't be in other people's faces about it. I wear Kamen Rider T-Shirts in public, but I don't be like "Hell yeah! Look at my shirt!!! I'm a big Toku fan!!!!".
