@Topic: Kamen Rider Evil's Jackal form change is so minor I wonder if we can get alternate parts included with the base form.

I only picked up one figuart from Saber and it was Buster. That figure looks so good.

Buster's blade was huge in the show so seeing it as finger sized here is hilarious to me.

It’s just a head and chest swap, right? I could maybe see his first alternate. Then again, the form changes for Buster, Kenzan and Slash were ALSO very minor and yet…

Not even that. For the head just the front mask part needs to switch, and only the left side of the chest. Simple peg connections and the chest doesn't even need a new mold, just different paint. They've done more on retail figures before but who knows.

I wouldn’t call them all minor, an entire different arm to sculpt and paint ain't nothing to sneeze at. The Hansel Bremen arm on Slash for example is very detailed.

Believe it or not, they're deceptively complicated if you're going for show-accuracy. Even SO-DO and RKF don't pull it off accurately- only thing they got right was "hey take out this arm and stick another one in". The problem with their form changes is that they retain their undersuits despite having new bicep/forearm armor, which is kind of insane to think Figuarts would do.

It might work if they didn't care about making the arms compatible between all 3 Riders, but that kind of defeats the purpose. Kenzan doesn't even have a bicep curl so I can't begin to imagine how they'd pull off the gimmick.

I think Build Genius might actually pop up for pre-order soon-ish. We all joked about these Figuarts photo-prints that came alongside the exclusive clear figures, and today they openly admitted that Genius is the only photographed figure not commercialized yet.

However, they end the sentence with a "but..." so I assume they are currently working on it.
