Part of me wanted to swap out the Lucario you're given with the one I evolved since that was a higher level but…I couldn't bring myself to do it!

Wouldn't Archeops be nicknamed Torin? Torin is based off of a Archaeopteryx, which is the evolution between reptiles and birds, and Archeops is that.

In essence, yes, because they're both Archaeopteryx, but from a design standpoint, Blaziken closer matches Torin's.
