Does anyone have Shiny versions of the Generation VI Starters, specifically the first forms? I have all the rest that I got through GTS and wanna complete the collection.
|
Anyone wanna battle me? I just gotta set my team up aswell as prepare my April Friendly battle box for registration then I can battle & kick someone's ass with my new team setup :lol.
Okay, I'd seriously like to battle someone, I haven't done that in a while & I really wanna test out my new team :(. |
Yo.
|
I has my team ready & I just got done modifying my Battle Box, thank god I was able to after I registered :lol.
|
I have trained a Mamoswine, an Unfezant, a Trevenant and now I have trained a Scolipede.
Recommendations for the next 'mon are appreciated. Also, I need a moveset for Scolipede. How does Megahorn/Earthquake/Rock Slide/Swords Dance fair? |

Getting ready to battle in the April Friendly, wish me luck on me not getting my ass kicked guys :lol.
F******** I've gotten my ass kicked five times by trains who do nothing but switch their pokemon out during the BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE, I HATE TRAINERS WHO DO THAT, with the peoples here being ze exceptions but man all these people I'm battling are just taking the piss when they have the chance -_-. |
I genuinely do not understand your disdain for people switching their Pokémon.
It's why I don't want to battle you. Because it's a natural part of a battle. It can be a smart move. |
Does anyone have a Shiny Groudon?! I've been trying like hell to get one with absolutely NO luck. Someone please bail me out...

I really don't always mind switching a pokemon, so long as it's not the beginning of a competitive Global Link Tournament is what I'm saying actually. So actually both you & Electric Turahk kind of misinterpreted it, no offense. This is why I don't usually like to battle in Online Competitive Global Link Tournaments is cause 95.9% of the opponents I battle use switching out at the beginning of the battle as the first part of their strategy mainly because a lot of them end up sending a pokemon that's weak against one of mine but might have a move that's useful against the pokemon I send out first, doing something like seeing the opponents stratgey usually helps a lot in battle. Also, I'm sorry I'm not someone you like to battle @Electric Turahk :(.

No idea what the complaint here is. That's part of the game. You see an unfavorable matchup, you get out of there. Predicting switches and switching are why entry hazards, Baton Pass, Roar, Shadow Tag, Pursuit, setup moves and other significant aspects of the game currently exist. You either learn to deal with them or avoid gameplay that necessitates them.
For example, one of my problems with the April Friendly, besides my own inexperience, was dealing with higher-tier Pokémon I wasn't used to encountering while having measures for ones I would never encounter, thanks to the all-Kalos rules. I didn't bitch to myself that it wasn't fair that people were using Mega Kangaskhan, because there was no reason my self-imposed rules should have any bearing on the tournament's guidelines. Instead, I decided to bear with it, take my wins and losses as I could and, though I failed to battle every single day, I at least won more than I lost. Now I've learned more about the changes I should consider in my team to better survive the next event. TL;DR adapt or die. |
I need a Houndoominite. Who wants to trade for a Tyranitarite as I don't like Tyranitar at all?

Now to decide... one of these, or Fire Emblem Awakening?... DAMN YOU NINTENDO! |
This did not need to happen by any stretch, but...
Hell yeah I'll be getting them. And I'm damn sure that's where we'll be getting the stones for Mega Latios and Mega Latias. Yay more version exclusive Mega Stones you fuckers... (Watch them give you the stone for the opposite one too. >_<) |
Pretty darn excited, any excuse to play a Pokemon game! Especially since my old Emerald cart is showing its age now.
|
My body is ready for Omega Ruby.
|
...Oh joy.
|
*Casually sits down after getting home from Uni*
*Checks serebii* ....Excuse me... YESYESYESYESWHOOWHOOYAHOOZIPPIDYDOODAASISIMOTHEROGARCEUSGODYES! ...Yes i'm excited. |
I'm curious over how Gen 3 is going to work with Gen 6's mechanics.
|
I just hope that there is something new to the story and features because I am not a big fan for remakes.
Also If there are big changes to the games expect me to me super excited within the months to come lol. |
|
I always though 3rd Gen was by far the worst Generation, so I'm not nearly as excited for this as I was for HG and SS. I have noticed that Gen 3 seems to be thought of as "the very best" nowadays, but I expect that's because a lot of the people on Pokemon forums are younger guys who had R/S/E as their first Gen and therefore have nostalgia goggles.
THAT SAID, I am still very excited for them. I'm sort of hoping that "new world" means it literally is a new region rather then an updated Hoenn and the story of R/S/E wasn't particularly dramatic so that gives me hope to. Best case scenario would be its the new region that Hotel Traveler mentioned and you get to go to Hoenn post-game! Even if its not though, I'm sure it'll still be a totally fantastic game and I'm very much looking forward to it. Anyone else noticing the different markings on Groudon and Kyogre? New forms or just new aesthetics for the cover? If I had to guess, I'd say they change appearance slightly when holding their Örbs, considering their new markings appear to be based on them. |
Quote:
Yes, Kyogre and Groudon look weird on the covers. Not only are they glowing different colors than normal, but also in different spots (but the actual markings and patterns are all still unchanged). I don't know why that would get changed nor do I even expect any sort of explanation. |
Unless I've misinterpreted what you're saying, the markings are definitely changed. Kyogre, for example, never had any markings on his head.
|
Well, this "Hoenn Confirmed" thing made my birthday even more wonderful! :lol
|
Mega Kyogre looks awesome.
|
Quote:
Oh. I saw the two big spots as just his old white spots glowing. I didn't even realize the glowing pattern on the head proper. Yeah, that's new. Okay they're totally different. And I'm still sure we won't find out why. |

...Alright, fine, that's a lie. But Milotic will never be important, so I doubt they'll bother. |

It's interesting to see that you guys didn't like Generation 3. I felt the 2nd Gen was the weakest to me (In Pokemon, the game itself was pretty huge). Still as long as we get more Mega Evolutions and more features like an upgrade to X and Y, I'm probably down for this. Mega Groudon looks awesome to me. |

I'm totally gonna try to recreate my team from the good old days here. :lol |
Don't count me out of the gen 3 lovers ;)
|
I'm actually trying to hold back tears from this.
