I still think the movie trio hold up the best of the Showas but I wouldn't be opposed to renewals. An even more accurate Shin would be a blessing.

On the one hand, it’s cool to see Tamashii revisiting classic riders; but I wonder if that will push back the development of the remaining Hesei figures that probably also need renewals

Heisei Renewals have been consistently done ever since Seihou started and we're down to 3 or 4 that really need them. I'd say I'm pretty okay with the Showas finally getting a spotlight on the 50th anniversary, especially when all but Stronger only need one release each unless they also do the bikes

Altho, it's more likely they'll just put a promo image with him using some and then a little text at the bottom advertising some sort of effect parts set. sigh. Think they'll reissue Nigou as well? In any case, Stronger's the only one I really care about in this lineup. It'd be a different story if J/ZO/SHIN/RX/ZX were in there.

Most likely. But, we're not even sure if these showa riders are going to come out in a row, I can see them trickling down slowly and maybe some other riders in between.

I would love Seihou versions of the Showa movie Riders, and Doras too. Frequently tempted to pick him and ZO off Mandarake, they're often in stock at a fairly affordable price, but I worry right after I buy them, Seihou versions will be announced

I think we'd get Solomon first, since Solomon uses Jaou Dragon's helmet and they wouldn't need to do a complete new mold for Storious.

Yeah, I suppose I should have included Solomon, too. But in general I was wondering if Bandai would bother doing the two of them.
