Blaziken Gardevoir Aggron Flygon Swellow Walrein HELL YEAH!! |
I wonder if the Gen 6 character customization will be worked into these two games?
|
I wonder if they'll make contests suck less this time around.
|
Contest suck less that would be an improve contest could finely work like in the anime in these games. At the same time I be buying both and naming the ruby for male and sapphire for female like I have been doing since reading Pokemon adventure

Apparently for Japan, their boxes will be colored for their respective game. ( Red colored case for Omega Ruby and blue for Alpha Sapphire.) And from the looks of it, the international release will have the standard white case.

Curse you Kalos!! |
Meh, screwed up my EV training earlier by having to catch a shiny Seviper. Second shiny encountered this week.
|
Anyone have a Houndoominite they don't want?

Speaking of Shiny, I'm looking for Shiny Regirock and/or Regice. Can anyone help me out here? |
It is possible Brendan and May are no longer the protagonists and are replaced. Also the XY games had trainer customization, so people will likely change how the main characters look anyway.
I don't really care either way, even though I really like May, because the characters you play as in the game are souless robots anyway. |
I'm very excited for this. Pretty much all of my problems with gen 3 were cosmetic (graphics were unimpressive, no day/night, no moving sprites etc...it just felt a step down from Crystal) but working with gen 6's engine I think this could be really great.

It really was a weird step down from Crystal. The battle mechanics were greatly improved but it seemed inferior in almost every other count. Fortunately all the things that I didn't like from R/S/E will almost assuredly be fixed including: -Short Story -No Day/Night -Still Sprites and lazy moving Emerald Sprites (non-issue now) -Holding back Pokemon intentionally in order to sell Colosseum -Almost non-existent Post-Game -Pokemon Contests having a lot of untapped potential (although I admit I didn't hate them) -Way too many and too big sea routes -Environments that weren't properly realized due to the sprites used (such as Fortree City and its surroundings seemingly intended to be a rainforest) |

So I played it again. And then I played it again. I still think it's awful. |
Gen 3 is my personal favorite but it isn't the best IMO. I'd have to give that title to number 4.

On a serious note i do wonder what the pack in will be... |
I haven't played 5 or 6 so I can't really comment on them from a personal experience. 6 though is a contender though with all of the features it has.

That's how I feel towards Gen 3. It felt more like a dull roster update over anything else. "But the abilities, and the weathers, and Dive" Yes, there were plenty of additions that changed the game at it's core, but it just didn't feel like they were actually changing much. |

I have yet to play it.
