That always sucks when something like that happens. I remember when Fear Itself came out they really did a bad job with the Avengers Tie-ins to that book.
What I liked about Forever Evil though was how you didnt need tie-ins to understand what was going on or feeling like you missed out on sometting. A thing thats kinda dragging down Spider-Verse right now. |
I hated Forever Evil. There were some good moments (like Lex buying Deathstroke and the Captain Cold stuff), but overall, I thought it was poorly paced, had a stupid Shamalylaniananan twist, and a dumb ending.

Rumor has it Viola Davis will likely be cast as Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad, pending resolution of scheduling issues with her TV show. Better than the god awful actress on Arrow, but still not a patch on CCH Pounder.

Have we discussed this?

Finished reading Justice League: Trinity War and I reaaaaaally liked that one. The Story was a real page turner with an intriguing mistery, great action and serves as a really good lead in for Forever Evil. The Tie-Ins I couldnt care less about. The Pandora ones were kinda alright but the Phantom Stranger one was just boring. I also hated the way they characterised Batman in that one. He was a bit too jokey for my taste.
The Main story was really good though and I am glad that I got back into DC :lol |

I'm looking to dabble in DC Comics since I've been so Marvel-focused for most of my life. It was hard picking a character to follow since so many of them just seem so unappealing to me. But then I found out about Blue Beetle & I gotta say I'm interested. I hope to start on his New 52 story sometime soon but I'm a little discouraged since I can only find the first 2 volumes. Is that all he has? Does he have others that I just happened to miss? Is he in other books? What's your opinion of his story & character? Thanks in advanced!

I believe Blue Beetle was cancelled.

Finished Grant Morrisons run on Action Comics today and while its neither the best Superman story nor the best Morrison story I´ve read I really loved it. I´m a sucker for multidimension/time travil stories and I got all of that in here. Plus that Morrison is one of the few writers that really gets what Superman is all about.
The new take on the young Kal-El is also something I enjoyed about the run. There were moments when I thought he was a bit too extreme for my tastes but most of the time I enjoyed where Morrison was going with the character and its a great basis for Clark to grow into the Superman we all know and love. |

Anyway, I've read Morrison's run twice, and I still haven't totally figured out what I think of it. I'm 90% sure that I loved it. |

I read the first eight issues a bunch of time but never had a chance to read the rest of it and like pretty much all of Morrisons stuff you have to do alot of work to get behind the story but when you do its so worth it. I just loved how he uses issue placement to get the reader into the same mindset Superman is so when the revelation hits why the story is so confusing its all the more rewarding. |

... I might have to read this again a third time. The trades had the issues out of release order, though. |
Then I have another comic book I need to track down now :lol
I knew that 7/8 are supposed to be read before 5/6. Where there more out of order? |
Why do I get the feeling Atom in Arrow will be like this

If the hologram from the last episode is any indication it will probably look alot like his current costume.

so, anyone here watch The Flash?
|
Hell yeah its a pretty good show :D

'The Flash' taps Liam McIntyre as new Weather Wizard
... So. It seems like Weather Wizard is going to be on a future episode of The Flash. Looking to avenge his brother. Meaning Clyde Mardon wasn't meant to be Weather Wizard. Meaning that his supervillain name was "God." Meaning that, in the first episode, the Flash fought God. Or Meteorological Mage. |
Your first spoiler protected information is right there in the link title. :D
Interesting news, though. More Flash information is always appreciated! |
so, how about that Firestorm?
|
So here's an interesting new rumor: DC may be splitting "Batman VS Superman" into 2 films.

If this is true I dont know what to feel about it. It feels like a really weird move on their part. Like they are not confident enough that one movie alone would be successfull enough.
|
I wouldn't be surprised with all the stuff that they are reportedly trying to cram into it.
|
I would really like to know how long they planned for it to be two movies if thats whats happening.

I miss the days when we could just sit down and watch a single movie without having to watch 300 other movies to go with it.
|
Well, Flash and Arrow have been renewed. I'm certainly pleased by the news.

CW has just announced a Vixen animated TV series set in the SAME universe as live action Flash & Arrow!!
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=58390 This is just incredible in all honesty. It allows them to expand that universe but with a much smaller budget, and they could even introduce a live action version of the character at some point on either of those shows that can seamlessly make the transition from this one. I am floored by this. I know Vixen isn't on most people's radar, but a female hero getting her own animated series with this kind of exposure is huge. |

I hope it's good though. |
According to Cavill, BvS: DoJ will be a single film.

Is there any reason why Batman Vol 6: Graveyard Shift contains issues 18-20, 28 and these issues weren't released in number order?
Is it to do with reading order? For clarification below I will put what issues come in which volume. Volume 1: 1-6 Volume 2 8-12 and annual 1 Volume 3 13-17 Volume 4 21-24 Volume 5 25-27 and 29-33 Volume 6 18-20, 28, 34 and annual 2 |
