So, quick Disk Wars briefing:
The Loki arc is over, and they are moving into the Registration Act and Red Skull ones, next episode is Guardians of the Galaxy, or as they put it: "Ginga no Gādianzu".

The toyline continued with War Machine and Wolverine, and a third unnanounced figure which I seriously hope is Wasp, it'd be three W heroes.

This may be old news to some, but I just read it this morning. Apparently Hayley Atwell will be a guest star of the season premiere of Agents of SHIELD. I lurves her, so yay!

I read the first 10 issues of the current Captain America book, and wow, the whole thing about Dimension Z was seriously trippy.
It's not a bad story by any means, it is engaging, has good action and interesting development.
On the other hand despite being such an important character Ian has very little personality besides "son character", and as a whole this just feels so out of place for Cap, not only the bizarre idea of Zola's world but the tone of the story, it really wants to see Steve break, and such mean-spiritedness is not what I associate with Cap.

However I do love when a story remembers Steve paints, the issue of Cable and Deadpool where he paints a mural at Providence is one of my favorite moments in the book.

Anyways, that was bizarre, I really want to read the lead-up to Sam inheriting the shield, but boy this is a weird book.

The Disk Wars GotG episode was essentially one long battle of witty replies, and at one point Barton and Quill essentially started to flirt with each other. :lolol

Anyways, it was fun, and due to the loose continuity of te show there's no need to watch any of the previous eps, next episode they team up against Fing Fang Foom!

Man, this show never makes sense. :lol

If you wanna get back into the current stuff I suggest you get Mark Waids Daredevil and Jason Aarons Thor God of Thunder. Those are the two best books marvel has out there at the moment.

I finally managed to check out TASM 2 today. I enjoyed it for the most part but I could have done without the parents subplot and the Goblin fight/Gwen Stacy death was reaaaaally tacked on and would have been better for a third installment.

Please let part of this be true. Andrew Garfield is an awful Spider-Man & I for one want the world to be rid of him.

Even though I like Garfield alot in the role this wouldnt be a bad idea. By the time Avengers 3 or heck even by the time Spider-Man 3.2 comes out he will be way to old to play the role. He was already oushing it but it still kinda sorta worked.

Was reminded by a podcast of the recent Wolverine stuff.
