So is Baron currently the most expensive AC to get on the aftermarket? Admittedly I haven't been looking very long, but the prices I've seen for him always seem to be higher than everyone else.

Next TV-kun freebie will come in march, but it's going to be Tokkyuger related, a miniature Red Ressha. Don't expect more Zyudenshis, it's all about trains now.

Wow you're right. Even the yahoo prices are insane. Glad I got mine early. Baron costs nearly as much as Suika Arms at retail.

Still hoping that Baron and the rest of the backordered AC figures come in at HLJ, I love the idea and design but those after market prices are a bit much.

Though I think I really lucked out recently, won a Suika Arms DX off ebay for $35 with shipping, can't think of a better way to start off my Gaim purchases.

I finally bought a Sengoku driver via Hobby Link Japan. Now I have to decide what other lock seeds I want to get. But if Durian lock seed comes out I am getting that for sure.

Durian is out as Candy Toy but is being overly charged on some places. I'm waiting for the Gashapon version to be released in March. No DX has been announced yet.

As you can see, the DX (Budou) have rounded out flat edges on the hinge and it's smooth. On the gashapon (Matsubokkuri), the hinge area curves a bit and there's a tab on the bottom.

Opening it up, the DX has a smooth inside with some details to finish off the fruit, while the Gashapon has large indents and a tab.

Another simple thing is that DX have LEDs and Gashapons don't.

The back is definitely where more differences are. As you can see, there are a bunch of buttons on the back of the DX. They both share a common button, the one that activates the sounds. The DX has more, with two smaller ones. The one closer to the big button is the button that activates in the Musou Saber. The one farther away is the one that activates the sounds for when it's plugged into one of the Drivers. The Gashapons lack these, and all their sounds (just the name, the henshin sound, the finishers, and sometimes "KAMEN RIDER _____, _____ ARMS!" for the standard Fruit Lock Seed ones). Also, the speaker "holes" are larger on the Gashapon.

And last but not least, the Lock parts are a solid piece on the DX, while the Gashapon are in two pieces.

It's already been said, but Bandai has pretty much been caught with their pants down due to the popularity of Gaim. On the CSToys activation show last week they brought this up and were saying we might not be seen substantial restocks until March.

Finally got a confirmation from Mandarake Nakano for combining orders, one of which contained lock seeds. Unfortunately the one I really wanted, Watermelon, was out of stock. Now I gotta track one down again. Haha

Hey I have no problem waiting until around March to catch up on the AC sets, just gonna collect the newer stuff that comes out until then :)
And after seeing episode 14 I'm crossing my fingers in the hopes we get news of an AC Cherry Arms soon. Love the design on him.

I'm just wondering how the creative team is reacting to this, I mean they had fruit for a theme this time around and no disrespect to them but just hearing it makes you kinda think what they were thinking. But I'll be damned if they didn't turn it into something great.
So..maybe we should expect a fruit sentai series soon :P

Haha. I didnt have very high hopes from the sounds of a fruit theme Rider series but after seeing the toys and the riders in action I changed my mind. The toys are awesome and the show keeps ramping up on the drama. It great.

Been a while since I checked into this thread. What is happening with the AC line? Last time I was here the base Zangetsu had been released, who's been released since?

Latest is the kiwi and Mango arms I believe. And Shin Zangetsu, Kurokage and Gridon are to be released (Kurokage and Gridon have weird looking lock vehicles). Blood Orange and Bravo will be tamashii exclusive I think.

Not sure if I'd get Bravo. While hes entertaining in the show, not sure I like is G2 esque colourscheme. And him being an exclusive is also a pain.

I'd get him if I got the other AC figures, which would require them costing less than one hundo a pop. :D

Ah, fortunately that'll be one AC figure I can pass on. While the character is..interesting to say the least, not looking to pay premium prices for a design I'm not especially fond of.

You never know. Its not the first time they supply those kinda things as accessories. But I'd expect that kinda stuff to be made if they make a figuarts Bravo rather than the Arms Change one.

I was fortunately enough to get all 4 Riders, but have no luck with the AC arms. At this point I just wish my orders with HLJ will come through cuz they are expensive and hard to get from other sources.

Now I'm fairly new to the Kamen Rider series (Watched a bit of Wizard) but isn't Gaim going to end up with the most individual riders of any series? I mean right now we're at 10 I believe, and three of those 10 have extra power ups as well. Figuarts must be loving this right now, popular show, lots of characters, lots of money.

As for Bravo all I know is he deserves the most accessories out of any figure. Pink word bubbles, extra head with pop out eyes, and pie crust baking action.

If we get any more then yes probably. Ryuki had 13 I think but not all of them appeared in the show. A few only appeared in the movies.

Still, the odds of Bravo ending up an exclusive are far too high for me to want to get excited about him receiving a figuart some day, since odds are I'm never gonna own it. But man would he be fabulous.

How are the non-DX lock seeds? Wouldn't mind picking up the durian one just to have something fun to fiddle around with.
