I mean. I guess we could do that. We have an IDEA for the final form, but maybe the form itself and all of its finer facets should be more integral to the story. We can explore it in further detail later.

I think we should at least have the base form(s) down. Because from there we can expound upon the others. We need a basis for the others to come from. A Genesis.

All I can offer right now is FEATHERS. I'd really like to see feathers make a visual appearance of some kind in most of the main forms. Obviously Aqua would be the exception.

I'm thinking thero form have a red base suit with a white/silver (like Baron) skeleton-like armor platings here and there or vice versa and maybe the helmet could look like a dinosaur skull with its mouth open or so.

The chest armor could resemble that of meteors except its made of rib cages .its your choice whether we'll make it symmetrical or not. And there could be an amber crystal in the chest area or something

The feathers serve as details for the forearms and legs or even the helmet like the V-horns on gundams

so far that's what I've got or would you want me to make a sketch of it? (will take some time though)

What were we doing for the final form? If we're doing the design, I'm going to suggest a fossilized look.

I suggest holding off on the final form till we get the designs for the basic ones first just so that we could get some more ideas for it

Can we stop calling it omnivore form? it sounds silly. Just Omni form would do.

And yes since Omni form is supposed to be a combination of all 4 forms, we'll need to do the others first.

Can we please focus on more the forms please! And the secondary rider, let it be based on prehistoric beasts!?

We've basically got all the forms for Paleo mapped out, and I think a handful of us are craving visuals at this point. There will always be time for secondary riders.

Personally, I think the main forms shouldn't depict much fossilization at all. Maybe a bone motif here or there. That said, I like the idea of the final form being somewhat skeletal overall. Maybe I'll warm up to it once we see Yuu's sketches.

I only called it omnivore because I was using my phone and the word omnivore popped up on the keyboard.

I think you're right, we should save the fossil design for the final form.

Let's not mention the secondary rider yet. We have to completely finish Paleo then, we could move on.

Ok thinking of a design for Paleo is harder than I thought I wasn't sure were I was supposed to go with the design or the color but still...here's something I hastely made to get things started

Though I was expecting bone-like armor.

were using the bone like armor for the final form to tie it in with the villains ala PuToTyra, King Form, and Kiwami Arms.

It's a little hard to offer any criticism when I don't even know what I want yet. Right now all I can say is that it looks pretty good, but is just missing... Something. It all seems kinda safe to me. It doesn't seem... Clever enough. It lacks to subtle charms that Rider suits tend to have. (Like Gaim's visor being a fruit slice, or Drive having an undercarriage on his back.) Maybe incorporate the paleontology theme more somehow?

Not really sure how to well express or articulate what I'm trying to say, here.

I haven't really had time to think about any design cues myself. Maybe I'll find some this weekend and touch back with some ideas.

Yuu, you are an excellent artist!!! Paleo looks incredible. Can you design another helmet though? This one just looks weird. Also, can you make the color a red-orange? This color is good, but it looks pinkish. Everything else is amazing. Just make those changes and if you would like to, draw the power ups for Paleo Thero form. Excellent job!!!

I think you might be jumping the gun a bit, here. It's a nice design, and a GREAT place to start. But even Yuu himself implied room for improvement. I think we can spitball more ideas while he throws together more sketches and concepts in his free time.

Don't feel like you've gotta put a massive amount of detail or color into all the designs you come up with just yet, Yuu. I dunno about any of you, but I'd certainly like to see some more wildly different designs. Maybe broad array of varied suits that the rest of us (less artistically talented individuals) can pick, choose and scalp from until we've put together something really great and unique as a team.

I guess we can look at other designs also, but this design was EXACTLY what I had in mind, except the helmet.

Oooh. I like that chest design. Could you explain the spikes on the forearm guards, though? I feel like maybe those could be replaced with feather details like on the legs to unify things a bit. Also still not sold on the helmet design, personally. Maybe once everyone else has offered their own comment you can just solely work on different helmets instead of redrawing the body every time? It's an idea.

Yeah, but if the suit looks awesome with feathers (which I think it absolutely will) it doesn't detract anything from what you want to think Dinosaurs should look like. The Rider and the dinosaurs themselves are separate.
Also. I don't think feathers RUIN dinosaur designs. Feathered dinosaurs just don't look like the ones you probably grew up learning about. I'll bet that you don't like them as much just because of the change; that they're different from what you're used to. Granted, there's nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't mean feathers are bad or that dinosaurs shouldn't have them because of your personal preferences.

I dunno. I just don't think any suit would look good with big hero plumey feathers.

Also, I HAVE seen good feathered dinosaur designs.
The problem I have with them is that they're VERY few and VERY far between.
And what fills in those gaps just looks like an abomination.

and if they are feathers, they can't just have the stem. they'll look like they might as well have been glued on.

Is there tyrannosaurus in that suit? Following Tyrannoranger, Abared & Kyoryured?

I don't mean cover it with feathers. Or even have ACTUAL feathers anywhere. Just like, feather motifs in the armor and on the helmet or whatever. Like in that first picture on the legs and V fin.

It's supposed to represent the theropod class of dinosaurs, so it does contain T. Rex elements in it along with elements of other carnivorous dinosaurs.

The color is perfect Yuu, exactly what I had in mind. The helmet is better, but can you add some teeth in it to make it more carnivorous looking? Maybe make the eyes a little jagged with teeth in them? It looks excellent anyways. I personally don't think feathers will work with this design for the thero form, but maybe with the others.

But they're already there on the legs. And they already work. Just more of that. Not MUCH more, but a little bit. My point is to subtly integrate feathers into all the forms as a common trait among them. All but Aqua of course, because those are technically different creatures entirely. I just think it'd set our suit designs here apart from all the other dinosaur themed Tokusatsu costumes and make things just a little more unique.

I'm not sure he needs the Carnotarus horns on the arms there given that the Carno power up will add to him already with back spikes and whatnot. The ends of his forearm guards (where the spikes are now) would be a great place to add a similar feathered accent like on the legs. Also, I sort of liked where you were going with the feathered V fin on the first design, but maybe you could integrate something like that again and tweak things a bit?

those aren't really feathers as they are just big spikes. REAl feathers would be plumey and not be as much of a point.

also, if you ask me, the first helmet looks like it would fit a secondary, and the 2nd helmet looks more fitting as a main rider helmet.

How about this, how about we save the feathers for the secondary/tertiary Rider. Because I'm sure one of them will have a bird-related form.

You know speaking of the secondary rider, I think its quite fitting that if his motif is prehistoric animals, his final form could be evolution themed as to Paleo's extinction themed final form.
