The (abridged) story of Xerneas that you hear in Anistar City
800 years ago, Xerneas made Kalos glow with life energy from it's kickass antlers. As this happened, a massive forest sprung up around the deer. It is also said that when Xerneas is close to death, it will share all of it's remaining life juice with the world.
And 300 years ago, during a horrible Kalos-wide war, it is said a Pokemon came to aid the wounded and many believe this to be Xerneas.
And now Xerneas is said to be in the form of dried up tree after the 800 years ago thing.

Now who wants to post Yveltal's story that you hear from the guy in Anistar City?

Except you did. No matter how vague you think you're being. Pokemon plots are pretty formulaic so its easy to know who or what you're talking about from the vaguest spoiler.

Whether you think people overuse spoiler tags in other threads or not doesn't matter, stop trying to justify your opinion and just take a second to think about those who don't want plot spoilers in any shape or form.

This is a general Pokemon thread, not an XY discussion thread for those who've already played the game.

Needed a pick me up so I decided to splurge and get Pokemon X I probably won't be playing it much till I finish Y but I wanted to get a Tourchic for this game before the event was over.

This time I choose a male PC and named him Daigo. Of course, I choose King as the nickname.

In Y, I just beat the fifth gym. Clemont put up more of a fight then the others…Magenton's endure plus his unlimited supply of Hyper Potions was just annoying.

That sounds fun, got him next. My Tyrantrum should sweep through (hopefully) and if not my beloved Pyroar will come in handy too =D

It was until Mega Blaziken finally managed to curbstomp him on the third turn. :lol

Okay, this has been bugging me for a while, how in holy hell do you pronounce Xerneas and Yveltal?

Yeah, I had to learn how to say them as soon as they were revealed. It would've bothered me way too much.

They sound slightly cooler in Japanese. Pretty much the same.
