The joke is that Injustice is staunchly sticking to the "Injustice" universe versions of characters; while some (Batman) seem normal, others, most notably Superman, are so unrecognizable in terms of character that it doesn't really feel like the character. So he feels the Superman in Injustice is more like the Iradicator or (DC's) Ultraman.

Exactly. A few of my close friends know that I absolutely ABHOR Injustice for what it did to Superman. So if it turned out that Injustice Superman was actually the Eradicator this entire time, and the actual Superman of that universe had been trapped in the Phantom Zone or something a few months before the events of the game began, most of my hatred for Injustice would dissipate.

There would still be logical issues, of course, but at least I'd get a decent version of Superman. :lol

I'd rather Hal Jordan just stay away from the game because Hal Jordan is the worst, and Injustice Hal somehow manages to be even worse.

@KRX: Seeing as Hal lost his yellow ring and has been banned from green ones I doubt he's coming back. I'm with you; he's rather dull and lifeless compared to every other Earth GL.

I was hoping it would basically be normal Supes fighting Injustice Supes, personally. I really hate the tyrant Superman. He's always been so lame.

I like Injustice's story if for nothing else having evil Supes completely curbstomp Batman.

I just think "what if Superman went EEEEEEEVIL?" is such a stupid storyline to begin with. Like, the guy puts on a pair of glasses and works at a newspaper. And he was literally raised in a barn. The chances of him going evil are minuscule.

Especially when compared to his rich best friend who watched his parents die right in front of his eyes and channeled that trauma by becoming a vigilante ninja/scientist/Olympic athlete/detective/linguist/etcetera who dresses up in a bat costume to go out and beat up criminals with the help of minors that he allows to join him in his war.

I like Batman, but the guy's got some baggage.
