There's been one in the works for quite a while, now. I think I mentioned it on this thread once a few years back.

Well, I care about it simply because when it's included, I think it's cool. And when it's written well (e.g. Ms. Marvel), my enjoyment of the comic increases because the stories have a greater sense of veracity. It feels like a reflection of my world if my world had superheroes.

I will grant you that Johns defined Hal for the modern age. And his Green Lantern work was undeniably successful and influential. But I think he relies to much on nostalgia in his work. It works for Superman, but not so much for the Flash or Green Lantern.

Hal's been defeated by a paper bag. More than once. At least a Power Ring failure is somewhat dignified.

Kind of. Batman is getting an animated movie that features the JL Dark team in it. However, he is holding their hand the entire time to cross the street.

Because no one can exist or do things without Batman supervising them. Sometimes I feel like slapping DC with an iron gauntlet. Like an avatar of DC in all it's DC-ness.

So basically I want to slap Batman.

So if Jon becomes Superman and Damien becomes Batman in the future we should have a comic book where a geriatric Superman and Batman go on a bucket list trip together.

Even if this was just a oneshot I really want to see this become a real comic.
