Just what is the connection between Drive & an octopus?

• King Crab + Blade = Category King/Evolution King & Crab claw
• Oomukade (giant centipede) + Kabuto = Worms
• Kurosai (black rhino) + Ghost = horns

What immediately comes to mind to me is an octopus wrapping its tentacles around something in a wheel shape. Like Drive's tires

Just wanna let you know that the connection between the crab and Blade has nothing to do with the "King" thing. It's merely that the crab's pinchers are similar in shape to the side view of Blade's head.

A commonly missed detail is that the rear of Blade's head features a smaller horn.

I think the first two are pretty obvious -- horns and dragons!

It's very much a stretch, but my guess would be using the Octopus tentacles to recreate the engine pipes on Drive's helmet:
