At this point it's almost like Fox WANTS to become bankrupt. Which is a pity since I get sick of seeing "Disney should buy x!" topics all the time.

Fox only seems to care very little on their own franchises. Unless it's X-Men, Planet of the Apes or Alien/Predator then they don't give a damn. They even screw up on Die Hard 5 when they hire both a bad director and writer for the movie. Fox also likes to make movies on the last minute since both Dragon Ball Evolution, FF and Hitman: Agent 47 where both made to avoid losing on to the license.

I wouldn't even go that far. Fox hasn't given a crap about the Alien and Predator franchises since the original Predator and Aliens.

Well Predators was a improvement over the AVP movies in my opinion and Prometheus was decent. Still Fox is still one of the worst movie companies in my opinion. Die Hard 5, Hitman: Agent 47, Elektra, both AVP movies, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Time Burton's Planet of the Apes, X-Men 3, Daredevil, Fantastic Four (2015) and Dragon Ball Evolution all screw over by Fox.
