Jake for his athleticism.
Troy for overcoming something in his past which is never explored properly.
Gia for being ferocious.
Noah for being a nerd.

Yeah they are all shit reasons, but Emma's was by far the least convincing.

And really, one of the better actors? Are you kidding me? She's like the female version of Troy without the interesting character on paper.

I am enjoying more of Megaforce the more I watch, just not Gia. Loving Everyone else though.

Yeah, Emma has been great! I love her smile and her character. My favorite pink in a long time.

I guess it's because the last PR series I watched all the way through before Megaforce was Dino Thunder, which I decided to rewatch.

And I think Kira was an AWFUL ranger, her characterisation was crappy and she could barely hold her own in a fight.

Then Gia comes along, all cool and badass and able to command her whole team with a nod. We need more Gia's and less Kira's.

OMG! Really, Kira was a great ranger! One of my favorites, no actually, favorite Yellow Ranger ever! I'll watch Dino Thunder again but I doubt it will change. At least she got character development. Gia has been the same 90% of the time with almost no development.

Kira is cool in that shallow tick the boxes kind of way and it was tacky as all hell. The forced slightly gothic appearance and the way she would cry while plucking guitar strings. It's a clean and friendly version of the social outcast and it rubbed me up the wrong way.

Gia has had nine episodes, Kira got forty odd and she was still abusing the eyeliner, singing terrible songs and was as fake and shallow a representation of the outcast as could be.

So you got a problem who where dark clothes, eyeliner and such?
