Starting on something to increase my bravery. I figured since Illinois now has conceal and carry, I shouldn't be going out unarmed.

I wanted to start on my jacket today and planned to re-use my pattern for Ran... but instead of starting, I spend most of the time looking for the right pattern, because I stuffed the one I needed in another bag of fabric leftovers back in november....

after seeing a pic here on the board, I had to go out and find some material and do this myself. It's so much better now.

Leader hat done! Just need to press down the folds. What do you guys think? Should I write “Team OOO” on the sides?

I think so, that would look cool.

So I was on a roll today. Everything went smoothly, I just had to sew on the sleeves- and they were like: NOPE. So after a lot of unnecessary rage about sleeves, I decided to move on for now and try it again later.

...Can I fly you to America and hire you to help me out with my cosplays? :lol

I did sew all of it myself (even the belt) and also painted the patch on the left sleeve.

Depends on the payment? :P

Do you have any recommendations on what kind of shirt to modify for a similar coat?
