Another Wizard kind of has a thing for skulls in general. There's of course those on its shoulders, but its face is one too! It's a bit difficult to see unless up close; its AnotherWatch makes it more obvious.

So brilliant they never used that opportunity even once :lol

That's my main beef with Grand Zi-O, the first fight was awesome but after that he basically became the Rider who just reused past weapons -.-

I'd never noticed Another Wizard's Ring halo was just that - a ring. Oof.

Zi-O is weird in that respect.

Most Rider shows with their gimmick/theme reach their full potential with what they can do during the show's run. Most fruits you could ask for were have a lockseed and associated Rider/form with it during Gaim. Or how Ex-Aid covers every game genre with Gashats and gaming hardware type with belts/weapons.

And while the watch motif specifically is near fully utilized in Zi-O (Only thing I can think of missing is a Sundial), the Rider theming is such massive potential for so much of the rest of the show that we'll never get to see. Another Final Form Riders, Another secondary Riders, Final form armors, the missing Phase 1 Heisei armors. Makes me wish the show ran another year so we could see way more. What we've gotten so far is awesome, but it barely scratches the surface. We've gotten all that in toy form with god knows how many watches, but a majority of that stuff won't appear on screen.

I wish I could compile a definitive list of things that we didn't see in Zi-O that we should have, and maybe more stuff they could have done.

Did something change between Ex-Aid and Build? Because Ex-Aid feels like the last year all the merch was used in the show by the Riders. Quite a bunch of fullbottles are only seen as part of Pandora's Box, never used by Sento or the others, and a tonne of Ridewatches are only seen as part of Sougo's final stand in the finale. And that looks to continue with Zero-One, what with all the Progrise Keys we're only receiving art for. I'm not complaining, especially when the merch rush is bad enough already, I'm just wondering.

I think with even Ex-Aid by the end they started doing that. Remember Bang Bang Tank and it being only used as a finisher?
