My thoughts exactly. The wacky proportions Retrofires tend to have always bug me. It always surprises me when peopleare willing to take them as substitutes for SRC's.

If I was able to afford an SRC,I'd definetly go with it over retrofire.But I do like the look of the Megaforce Retrofires.They're not as exaggerated as past series.

Also it could be in people's taste.Some people prefer SiC over SHF,same goes for these.(Although those people are probably crazy,but again I point back to the budget thing.lol)

I'd never take a Retrofire over an SRC, but then an SRC is probably never going to give me a Zeo Megazord with badass wings...

I bought it the first time I saw it, not realizing how it really looked. I love the way the legs and waist can be positioned, but that is about it.

However, if they ever release a Thunder Megazord, I'll get it because it could be years before there is a SRC one.

It's gone. It said the guy only one 1 left in stock when I ordered it. It is coming from Japan, so he is shipping it via the slow method, but I figured I would take the chance with it only being $35.

Price makes up for a lot when comparing Retrofire to SRC. Retrofires are under $20 while SRCs are around $60. You get what you paid for. 1/3rd the price, 1/3rd the quality.

It's on Amazon though, so I'm pretty certain he has to be legit.

We'll find out. If not, I will dispute the order with Amazon.

He also had Shinken Pink and Yellow for $35 and $40.

GAH. I was stupid when I ordered my GokaiYellow. I didn't order Pink because I thought, "Oh, I could just grab her later. There's no way they would sell out like crazy and be ridiculously expensive on the aftermarket despite how every exclusive ever has been like that!!"

after reading through all this ive come to the conclusion its better, in my case, to shut my mouth and just bite the proverbial bullet, so ive ordered Gokai pink and yellow for £160 (inc shipping).

On a day when ive spent £100 on shopping and another £85 on the Diamond Select AGT Enterprise i can honestly say somebody needs to ban me from ebay for a month or two...

I think i'm just gonna stick with the core team from this point forward, the power ups would just be too much... With that said, the Super mode is on its way :lol Damn this rabbit hole :(

while the helmet is gonna be harder to get, if you want just the main sword, I really recommend this set for at least the sword alone:
