It's amazing.

So accidentally killed knight solare in darksouls so now I had to create a new character, man I was almost lvl 60 with my knight. But the thief is proving to be very fun. almost to lvl 20 (an there was much rejoicing).

I'm gonna continue the second case of Trials and tribulations today.

Black Waltz No.3 finished…I seem to be having a much easier time this time around. Dunno if it's because I did a bit of grinding in Evil Forest.

Just finished Batman: Arkham Origins.

Eh, the game is alright.

Fun because it's using Rocksteady's engine but…it feels like Arkham City with a new coat of paint…it doesn't really feel like a new game.

Even the story is been there done that…we have so much fiction depicting a young batman these days. But what makes it work is the strong characterization and voice performances.

Even at it's weakest though, the Arkham games are still a blast to play through.

Beat the second case of Trial tribulations, i always need a gamefaqs guide for this part of the game. :/

I just finished Zelda The Phantom Hourglass and for the most part, it was good, but it had a lot of flaws. I could never get fully into the touch screen controls. Most of it was unique and fine, but switch items was a pain in the ass, especially during timed moments and battles. Also, I have no idea what was going on with the ship parts stuff, but I barely found anything. In fact, there seemed to be a lot of pieces for every section of the ship listed and I'm not sure how to even find them. There are only 31 treasure maps, and only about half of them contained ship pieces, and sometimes, they were repeating pieces. The story itself decent, but nothing spectacular. I just couldn't get attached to most of the characters because there was very little to get attached to. The dungeons themselves were a mixed bag, as some were annoying as hell, while the last two dungeons in the game were fantastic. I am so glad I do not have to go through the Temple of the Ocean King anymore though, as that got really tiresome. Finally, the other disappointing aspect of the game was the sailing. I do not like how it was done in this game as it was way too restricted and a pain in the ass when being attacked by enemies. Overall, the game is far from Zelda's best, but it wasn't a bad game, it was just subpar. I do hope Spirit Tracks fixes a lot of these issues, as I am probably going to start playing that one in the next week or so since the "controls" are fresh in my mind.

I can't comment on the story since I haven't gotten to the true ending, but I can't put the game down.

Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix HD

That was a good game. Not a great one but a good one. The final form of Ansem was kind of annoying but asides from that, the final boss was great. In fact, when Sora is fighting Ansem alone with his heartless Guardian was probably the best boss fight in the game.

With a good combat system, awesome story, superb voice acting, great graphics, great characters and lots of diverse combat scenarios, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD gets a 7/10 from me. A lot of the things holding it back are the underwater and flying boss battles and each world being only 6 or 7 rooms the game has you back tracking through constantly. I enjoyed my 55 hours with it and will probably return to it to clean up the extra bosses.

KH: Re Chain of Memories HD

This game is bad so far. I'm up to the Larxene boss fight and this game ain't getting any better. A lot of charm from the original game has been removed here, from the fact that the none of the characters in any of the worlds or the Final Fantasy characters don't have voice acting, each area feeling repetitive and being a reskin, each world's story being an exact copy of the one encountered in Kingdom Hearts except replace the word "heart" with "memories", to little customization outside of the cards, this game's presentation in game is lazy.

Even the card combat system, the supposed best part of the game, I feel, does not work very well. When fighting normal enemies, sure the combat is somewhat decent but the boss make this system feel unfair and broken. Card Break is one of, if not, the most annoying thing I have encountered in any videogame and the bosses spam the fuck out of this, most notably Hades and his cheap ass.

The only thing I like about the game is the story. The game starts off with Sora, Donald, and Goofy entering Castle Oblivion forgetting their abilities and the hooded dude testing them. Okay.... that still doesn't explain why the keyblade can't change forms because its an item that does that not an ability...

The whole Namine thing is intresting but in order to get to that, you have to slog through the bullshit game.

To be fair it's built as a GBA game.

It's probably just my imagination but Trials and tribulations cases are either really easy or really short. Honestly i don't see why this game is the favorite of Ace attorney fans.

Playing my way through POkemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Christmas gift, and I've done hardly anything else then play the game. I'm a PokeAddict, so this game just fuels my obsession.

Continuing my way through FF9 and I just recruited Quina.

For those who've never played the game…Quina is unique in that he learns skills by eating common enemies. So he's pretty much FF's Kirby.

I don't really need to level grind so much but I am grinding for AP so I can learn more skills….my Zidane's equipped with the Ogre in addition to some Killer abilities and he is a freaking BEAST.

The most he does usually is 400-600 with a single attack to common enemies.

Just got the True Ending in 9 Hours 9 Person 9 Doors. I don't know how to talk about this game without spoiling it, but if you are interested in it, GET IT and go in blind!

Still trucking away at Dark Souls. I did get into the titanfall alpha though ;)

Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate - The Core Fighters with free Hitomi DLC. It's the Free To Play DoA game for PSN, and it's alright. It's like every other DoA game I've ever played. And you play as Akane and Kasumi from the start which is a nice touch (I rock as those girls). You have to buy other characters though. (It starts with four, and Hitomi if you download the bundle) Not sure how I feel about that. Especially since I really only ever play the real game has Akane and Kasumi any way.

Dead or Alive still makes fighting games? I thought they stopped bullshitting around and resigned to making softcore porn with moon physics...

I've made it to one of my favorite part of the ace attorney franchise, getting to play as Miles Edgeworth! I'm glad i'm on the last case of AA3 already, then i can move to Apollo Justice.

Since my cousins visited we played a ton of games, here's some of the games we played:

-Ribbit King: Incredibly silly but totally fun.

-Kirby Return To Dreamland: A classic Kirby adventure with excellent co-op elements, my main complaint being that Player 1 controls the camera and the whole team has to restart if he dies, nonetheless a great game, and the face-to-face mechanic is hialrious. :lol

-Mario Kart Double Dash: All of the onore to Star Road.

-Bomberman Generations: It's bomberman, you know the drill.

-Mario Party 9: A very different kind of game, and tbh I didn't like it, last Party game I played was 7, and while that one had it's flaws it was still fun, 9 was rather stale imo.

-Bioshock 1 and 2: I had never played either of them and was pleasantly suprised, the plasmids made for a very different kind of FPS, and the story was engaging, my main gripe being that most of the game length is created by rather pointless item hunts.

Also I have invested roughly 30 hours in Persona 3 and 4, just got Akihiko in 3 and defeated the first boss of block 2 and in 4 started Kanji's dungeon.

After playing 15 hours in each it still feels like I have only beated the tutorial levels. :lol

So continuing through FF9…I actually managed to defeat a few Grand Dragons so I've power levelled quite a bit. I'm determined to actually finish the game this time.

The part where you get to use Beatrix for the first time is one of my favrioute moments of the game…a nice reward after the game forces you to loose to her three times:

I hate games that create bosses that are only possible to be defeated when the player has specific power ups, but then gives the player random power ups.

10 hours in Tales of the Abyss and it's fantastic. Just like Vesperia it has a great localization.

Yeah i'm pretty much done with Trials and tribulations.

Okay starting the final game in my Ace attorney marathon (not counting Dual destinies) Apollo Justice! I just noticed Payne's sprite is just a recolor of hi's Ace attorney 1-3 sprite, and it now bugs me, it's jarring as hell.

Another thing i noticed is that as the series goes on the tutorial case gets longer and longer.

If you do get sucked into Final Fantasy, remember one thing.
"It gets good 20 hours in" is NOT a good thing.

Well i just beat the first case of Apollo Justice, and it only took me... 5 hours. ...That took longer than i thought it would. Well i guess i'll take a break for now.
