As expected, the hood really is basically a slightly modified Ore hood. The yellow eye on the chest looks pretty cool though, whole color scheme looks nice. Face is alright too.

I'm not too disappointed on him looking so much like Ghost, since we kinda knew from the get-go.

Seeing Specter, I see some Garren in there. Hope they'll add more riders soon. A "Chalice" & a "Leangle".

For a bunch of Ghost riders, maybe also a "Ghost Buster".

It's probably a good thing that Specter has the same mold as Ghost because it means that the hoodie gimmick won't be impaired like some of TK figures are.

Ugliest? I dunno, there's been some just unappealing Drivers. Unsightliest? Blandest? More fitting. It's definitely no Sengoku Driver when it comes to size and function, but the fact that it has physical interactivity honestly puts it above the Driver Driver for me. (the little spinning display wasn't worth the girth and lack of gimmick to me)

Problem with the foggy transparent cover is how hard it is to notice that it's transparent most of the time. It mostly just look like a big pillow or something, which I guess a bedsheet ghost almost is? So cliche.

The Sengoku Driver, Drive Driver, and Mach Driver all had a complex interesting design with a fun gimmick to each. The Ghost Driver is just plain and boring. The thing that you pull to transform on the side is not creative and can work with any belt. The way that you put the Icons in is boring and should have had another way of inserting the icons, instead of ripping the belt open. It might grow on me eventually, but right now I'm not a fan of the design.

I mean. People talk about how un-creative the way the Driver opening is, but really, nothing like it has ever been done before. It had to happen eventually. :p

I think it would have been more interesting if it opened the other way around--like if you were pulling up the sheet to put in the eye or something? As opposed to just popping it open from the top. That would have probably been really cumbersome to work with though.

I'm pretty sure it is the way it is mostly to properly facilitate the "eye rolling" motion that happens when you press the lever. The Eyecons certainly don't perform that on their own.

By the way, was it said anywhere what the standby jingle actually says/means? I've seen all the Henshin jingles understood and translated, but have yet to learn the meaning of the standby. Speaking of which, I have to say I'm really loving the Ore henshin tune the more I listen to it.

"KAIGAN! ~OOORE! LET'S GO, KAKUGO! Go-Go-Go-GHOSTO! (Go! Go! Go! Go!)"

Yeah it's loud and obnoxious, but I'm not sure it's potentially silly enough to completely ruin the mood like "PLEASE!", "CHOINE, SAIKOOOOO!", "SHOOBADOOBIE", or "LUPACHI MAGIC."

I said it a few times already, but I too think that the Ghost Driver is one of the ugliest belts I've ever seen.

And I think for the most part that's because of this stupid blanket. I get it, ghosts and all, still looks like shit. This belt needs color and more details. Rip this stupid blanket off, paint the face underneath, make the belt so that the Eyecon is inserted through the mouth. That would be super spooky and awesome.

Like, you have a hinged jaw, the eye is closed, you give the belt the Eyecon to eat, and when you close the mouth the standby music plays and when you pull the lever, the eye opens up.

But as it stands this belt is a huge disappointment.

Yeah... I would wait until I've seen the show to say that, because I can see these sounds being at the same disturbing level of obnoxiousness as the Wizard ones.

My point is that while they're still potentially annoying, most of them are neutral phrases instead of random silly gibberish or completely out of place "Please!" and "SAIKOOOO!" sounds interrupting dramatic moments like the Wizardriver.

And how is the whole "Bacchariminna" that won't shut up or the "Go-Go-Go-Ghosto!" not silly and random? Because it's ghost-related somehow? Well, the whole "Open your eyes"-thing is related to the belt, as are Wizard's "Please" and "Saiko", because the belt is just so damn polite.

And you're kidding yourself if you think those sounds won't fuck up a dramatic scene like Wizard's sounds do. They totally will, unless they shut them up for good in those moments.

The problem I have with Ghosts sounds is that they have no rhythm that I like and overall no appeal to me. The few that I heard so far, to be fair. While OOO and Gaim have these stupid names and stuff, it's the melodies and the way they are performed that make them highly enjoyable.

With Ghost I get the feeling it's Wizard 2.0. Especially the "Bacchariminna"-loop, I hate shit like that.

Ghost's beat's aren't as sick as the OOO chants or the Gaim announcement but it sounds somewhat decent, although wizard was better because the politeness stuff and the magic word of please.

Wizard driver does look better than the Ghost driver.

Making a comparison like that is really pointless at this point of the show. We havent even seen a single episode yet to even say its "like show X"-

I actually enjoyed Wizard too (well... sometimes), it's just that Ghost reminds me of one of the things I didn't like about Wizard: The sounds of the Driver.

The rest isn’t reminding me of anything because... well we haven't seen much of Ghost yet :lol

Man, it must be so fun to be a suit actor. Aside from wearing uncomfortable, hot costumes that impair your vision, it's probably a blast.

Already hard to take this seriously with the Driver babbling in the background. Which could be okay, if this is a complete fun oriented show and succeeds in the comedy part with generally funny situations and likable characters, but I can't judge that yet.

And so far the story seems rather serious with the protagonist dying and being resurrected with a dead-line to fight for his new live.

Oh well, I'm eager to see it anyways.
