Always make your own opinions. Watch it and if it really doesn't appeal to you, just skip it. There is never a guarantee that you will have the same experience as others had.

I enjoyed Saber thoroughly, many didn't. I think Revice is an unmitigated disaster and probably the worst Rider show I have watched till now, but a lot of the fanbase loves it.

I say give Saber a chance, while some of the criticism of it are warranted, some of the criticism are also overblown.

The show has it's obvious strenght and flaws and is generally divisive, but is a big improvement over Ghost.

The first arc might be a big mess, but after Yuri enter the show, Saber get much better and it's consistent enough to not fall back to the same quality of it's first arc.

Saber has great fight choreography and some really good hype moments. But the story overall leaves a lot to be desired. I think it's worth watching for the suit design and action scenes alone.

I'm in the middle for Saber. Some parts I liked and some parts I didn't like. But the suit designs are top-notch which is why I'm getting the entire SOL group in Figuarts form.

Revice is a great ongoing series. A lot of negativity came in from the start because of the controversy regarding Vice's VA, but if you set that aside, you can enjoy Revice now.

Looking back at Specter rebirth, Rogue vcinema and now Trio of deep sin.

It makes me feel like Toei is sackling Fukuda hard in the main show, because holy hell this man is sadistic, like all of the movies where Fukuda has a hand on so far are much more shocking and sadistic in comparison to his series, make me suspicious that moment in Rogue where one of the test subject got brutally murdered by the remocon bro was his doing.

It also help that Touma pretty much get a nonstop torture during the show run and Saber later arc was supposed to be rewritten because Toei said it was too depressing and they ask him to write happier ending, because they don't want the audience to become to depressed in this covid era

US Dragon Knight was my first Rider series. (CW ran it) Now I want to know what would be a decent episodic Rider show to start. Thanks for the help with this.

I've heard Wizard was one of the more episodic shows of the modern era of Rider. I've only ever watched the first episode, I need to go back to it someday

It followed the same "monster of the fortnight" two-parter pattern that most of the post-Den-O, pre-Gaim shows used. There was a bit of serialization near the end, but it never really became one single ongoing story.

This makes me wonder what would happen if this guy ever writes an anime. Will we finally have someone who surpasses the Urobutcher in sadism?

Don't know about surpassing Urobuchi, but i'm sure is going to be bloody.

What i know is Fukuda really know how to write a movie and i can't wait for him to write another rider movie again

I watched Amazon Episode 01 on the official youtube stream feed today. Might have to wait for all of it to upload to continue the series.

It's going to be a long wait. Toei hasn't uploaded more than two episode of any Rider show to YouTube.

Yeah, you're pretty much better off watching most of the Kamen Rider seasons through Kissasian and/or TokuFun.

I don't think so? They paused airing certain anime like, 3-4 weeks ago? Haven't seen a new episode of Dragon Quest since.

Is there any way to trick ViStamps and Lockseeds into playing their transformation sounds without the Driver? I've been able to do that for Gashats and Ridewatches but for my Batta ViStamp I've only gotten as far as the standby

You can’t do it with Vistamps (their sounds are triggered by UV light), but you can do it with a Lockseed, and a screwdriver.

You don't even need a screwdriver necessarily, hold the button the belt would push down with a finger and press the buttons the knife mechanism would trigger.

Shame about the ViStamps… though I WAS considering a Revice Driver anyway

The gratuitous filter to make the show appear literally darker and grittier has always been extremely funny but it is also absolutely iconic and essential to Amazons' identity! You take one look at it and you know exactly what it's about and what it's here to do for you.

For a video game themed series, I can't help but feel like Ex-Aid missed a few opportunities to experiment with camera tricks to hammer in the video game feel. I feel like some over-the-shoulder tracking shots to replicate a game's third person view could spice up Snipe's fight scenes and reinforce his shooting game motif. Not exactly complaining with what we got but just saying.

SF has not announced anything new with KR after Zero-One was released. It did well with pre-orders which is a good sign. Companies judge their numbers on pre-orders first from what many other people told me.

Definitely a shame they haven't announced anything new. Their subs are really good so it's pretty exciting when they pick something up -- especially if they end up doing something like OOO, 555 or V3. Or, of course, if they decided to release physicals of Kuuga, 71 and Ryuki

Is there any plans to release more of the Revice Remix sets? Seems weird that they would only do 3 sets out of 6 or 6 1/2, and nothing Ive been looking through has shown they're doing another set any time soon

Yeah RKF doesn't end up doing much aside from like the first couple of forms, maybe the Riders in Q1 and then just promptly stop.

Like I think with Saber the furthest we got was Saikou? Which is a lot given we got mostly every other Rider to that point. But still. No primitive, elemental, tategami, etc.

Although Saber felt like wasted potential to me (not entirely Toei's fault though), I feel like the cast, settings and lore built-up in the series left enough material to make a great slice of life miniseries (of sorts), whether manga or anime or whatever. Having a look at Touma's life in the bookshop, what the new SoL are up to, a chance to explore the new Wonder World, Ryo in the process of becoming a teacher, what Yuri did in Avalon for all those years, etc.

We can call it the Sword of Logos Slice of Life, or SoL SoL.

This, 100%. Saber had a really fun cast and cool lore but i felt that it was never used to its best ablity? One of my biggest gripes about Saber is that there's very little downtime to explore the cast and the world in a more chiller setting, every other episode has to feel like everything's going to fall apart or the world's on the cusp of ending....It would be nice to get slightly siller content like the web anime shorts! Or more character-driven stuff like TDS, mainly for any of the characters who aren't the main trio + Mei.

For the next Blu-ray release from SF, I can see us getting the original show to help cash in on Anno's Rider film coming out.

Revice is not my favourite Kamen Rider series but I am definitely enjoying it a lot more than I expected. I think it's because of two main things:

-The theme of family. This is the first Kamen Rider series (I think?) in which both parents are alive and are supportive of their children. And the siblings working together to overcome the odds.

-The theme of redemption and atonement. Aguilera/Hana and Julio/Tamaki leave behind their evil pasts to do better, Jeanne/Sakura joining Weekend to do better, Live/Daiji trying to reform Fenix after realizing that it is merely a front for Gifu, Vail/Junpei/Genta running from his savage past and trying to be a good man; the cast is full of people atoning for their real and perceived sins. Even Vice has resolved to not be a demon and just be Vice.

These are just my two cents.
