Are you all starting to feel as Figure-Rise kits don't really sell out?
I've been pre-ordering them from specialty sites as they come out but lately I've seen them all available consistently on places like Amazon for about the same price. Just wondering if I need to stress out about pre-ordering Fourze and Agito. |

Here is the sheet they have for April for example: https://bandai-hobby.net/site/schedu...s/2021_apr.pdf |

I don't know why you feel the need to argue, regardless. My point still stands that none of these releases are really marked up by much, and that 40 USD in the states is as good of a deal as it gets, unless you get lucky and find an American retailer that has something on clearance. |

But hey, that's why this forum exists https://media1.tenor.com/images/efd7...temid=18902674 |

Spent the last couple days putting Ryuki together. Fun kit, overall! The actual Ryuki part of the Ryuki kit is maybe one of my favorite builds ever? The stickers are minimal, and always apply cleanly. I can't believe the Dragvisor looks as good as it does, considering it's about five stickers that interlock, but at a quick glance it looks like it's painted. The construction is straight-forward, with everything connecting with zero hassle. Spending an afternoon building this guy was a delight. The absolute best part of the build, though, the smartest thing, is that all of the silver pieces use under-gating to attach to the runners. All of the little abrasions on the metallic paint from snipping, those are all on the underside of the pieces. It ends up making all of the outward-facing silver parts completely clean and perfect. It helps enormously, and it leaves Ryuki looking flawless, even after rushed work by an amateur. Dragreder took an entire extra day of work, and I'm ambivalent about him. I think he looks great, but I've honestly never been that psyched to own Contract Monsters. He's a bunch of work that I did out of a sense of completion, not because I was overjoyed to have him on display. That aside, his build is repetitive (build one part six times, build another part two times, etc.), but it comes together great. I'm not sure anything I've ever built has looked as professionally-done as this guy, this kit? And, like, I am not doing everything right! I hurry through this stuff! But the cleverness of the engineering means that a rush job gets you a four-and-a-half star toy at the end, instead of a five-star. My only real gripe about how the Ryuki kit does things is the Strike Vent. Unlike the minimal and forgiving stickers of every other part, the Strike Vent slathers on stickers in unintuitive and frustrating ways. The exact opposite of literally every other component, and something I never plan on displaying Ryuki with. So, yeah, skip the Strike Vent, the rest of this kit is stellar. Very highly recommended! |

I'm pretty sure it was held around the same time!

Did anyone else order Figure-Rise Ryuki from Tokullectibles? Did it ship yet?
I have the worst luck getting FRS kits on "on-time" |
Hobby shows are always cool, get to see Bandai go crazy with kits. Tho, I'm assuming there won't be much for this year, considering how barebones the few months have been with plamo releases aside from P-Bandai stuff.
In terms of toku kits, I'm betting prototypes for Agito and Fourze as well as a tease at the next rider. Haven't put up an order on Agito yet since I'm not sure if either his gold or his silver would be the coated runner. Wanna make sure I get some gold paint in case. I'm kinda hoping the next one is either Drive or Blade. Especially the former. In other places, would be neat to see Tiga Power Type and for them to continue on with the Netflix/Manga Ultra stuff. Like Taro or Marie or even Bemular. |
We might see a PB repaint like Ryuga too

Would be cool, but they haven't done a secondary since Geiz. I'm following the pattern of all the black repaints they've done so far
|
Though I guess if we're throwing out wants...
- Of the Heisei Riders I would absolutely love to see Blade next, though I'd happily take anyone really. Only 7 to go - I most of all really want to see them do Showa and Reiwa riders. As said there's only 7 Heisei Riders left, it's the 50th anniversary and the line's clearly doing well; surely this is as good a time as any to do Rider 1 or something, right? I can imagine a 01 kit coming with the katakana effect for the rider kick, too... - If they do bikes I will go insane |

If they do bikes, I'm buying up at the very least ZI-O's bike and then some. Lazer would be SO GOOD too. |
About the Hobby Next Phase.... we don't get any FigureRise, how unfortunate..
( ≧Д≦) also, Shizuoka Hobby Show is cancelled |

Technically not cancelled. The booths are still up, at least that's what it looks like using some pics I found circling on Twitter. Most of the announcements are just online now.
May as well post it here, too. Kotobukiya is doing a model kit of Shin Man. |
Cool, though they're usually expensive; right?

almost forgot Hobby Next Phase is 2 days, lol
also, we get another Wargreymon, but the regular one, not the amplified |

Also, never seen this suit before. Looks very basic, too. That's cool. Would have been neat to see Taro instead, though |
I saw someone making the Ryuki Figurise Standard being at the same size as the current Figuarts line.
Has anyone tried to make it a similar size to the figuarts line? |

Hey, that Ryuki doesn't look THAT bad compared to the Figuarts.
I might try to do that, especially when you take into account that the actor is super tiny. I wonder if the same thing could be done with the Zi-O and Geiz Figure-rise...Them towering the other riders bothers me quite a bit...But at the same time, seeing the actual price of both figuarts...I might just buy them. |
Quote:
As cheap as the Zi-O Figuarts go for, the one thing FRS did better was including the weapons in the kits |
Quote:
Still... yeah, I'd say the Zi-O FRSes are easily some of if not the worst in the line so far and I would just go for the SHFs when they're around the same price and far superior. The head alone is reason enough |

Yeah, I'm actually considering getting their upgrade version aswell as Woz and Ohma Zi-O. I'm not hard to convince to do something when it's about action figures heh.
I'm patiently waiting for my Figure Rise Ryuki to arrive. The only thing that bothers me with this kit is that he has single jointed elbow, but if it's like the Zi-O kit, I think I can go past 90 and just deal with it. I'm considering buying the "new" Faiz kit. Has any of you gotten that one, and what were your though about it? |
Quote:
is it the FRS one, cuz it's actually the FR6 one with new parts? |
That's that kit.
Apparently there are some new parts, and older parts like hip joints, hip swivel are "new" He also seemed taller in the video I saw. |

Back then they did release a P-Bandai versions of the FR6 of both Kabuto and Faiz that were Dark Kabuto and Faiz Axel. Weird to see it not happen here. |
